havent heard from the great one GLC in awhile--I hope all is ok
Glad you mentioned,
GLC is one of a kind!
Last online near christmas
Maybe he found the HG?
He lost everything
Last communication I had with George was few months ago. In about time when he was last time seen here..
He said he is well but unfortunately he decided to abandon the game of roulette...
:sad2:
Maybe he found Full pay video poker 9/6 Jacks or better more rewarding. H.E. a mere 0.25% Great game. I am spending more time at those machines than at the roulette table .
This is just speculation based on my interactions with him:
I think that he realized that there were no new ideas being presented here, and the forum had become a place for hobbyists to bicker with each other.
He is one of the few members that I have met who was sincerely searching for a method to beat the game without some bullsh*t agenda.
He was always open to new ideas, and never critical of other members. If you look at this board, you'll see a lot of senior members who are just looking to troll..........something you would never see from GLC.
There are 5 members who I completely trust and respect when it comes to the game. The absence of GLC from this forum is a sign of things to come..... :ooh:
******** The absence of GLC from this forum is a sign of things to come..... ******** Quote by the Law.
I agree with the law . The time has already arrived.
If it were not for some old buddies from the old ,GG I would have been a Goneski too.
All indications are that the forums will have some life left by a new generation of amateur system makers who think THEIRS is the NEW AGE of systems.
The torch has been passed on !
I appreciate what the Law has said, and I have to concur on most of what he said.
I see it like this though....because I have done it....
rookies see the wonder of the game and get involved, writing endlessly in every post. I did it, GLC did it.
You get better and take on the advice of "the maths guys" as RG calls them
Maths Guys, as he puts it, are people who have learned what will win and what wont. Why learn it all for your self over again?. Just listen
I listened...to Turbo, to Steve, even to Caleb Johnson. Caleb is annoying, agreed, but I learned from him...not to mention many others. I got better. Some dont listen and dont get better, some dont get better so much they lose their life savings.
As you get more experienced, you see how much people start to hate someone who seems to be doing well, so when you find something good, you dont post it.
The "senior posters" as LAW put it are like this. No longer posting, and giving advice on fallacy
Rookies dont want to hear they are wrong. They see it as patronising, and the person patronising them is a Maths Guy, or out to spoil threads.
In the real world, when I was 10, I went to 11 class, then 12, then 13 etc. It would of been dreadful to stay in the 10 year old class for 4 years.
This and other forums seem to have 90% rookie posts on stuff I found out doesnt work years ago.
It used to be a good read years ago, but I think many "senior posters" as Law put it have out grown it, but liked it so much, still come in to see if they can get involved in a new topic.
When they realise they cant, they get involved by trying to point out the error of their ways, rather like a boring Dad who pis%es you off when you are 14.
You find out he was right, usually, the hard way.
Its life.
Very, very pessimistic (or realistic) yet in 2012...

POST # 49 >>> I think this is the summation of all roulette systems. They're all based on the same odds so if you play long enough.....
Some move at a fast pace and others at a slower pace, but eventually they confirm the above statement.
Here's how every system works. If you flat bet, you will move up and down with a gradual drift downwards.
If you use a progression with no stop loss, you will win a ton of small wins but eventually you will hit the table limits and have to give it back.
If you use a progression with a large stop loss you will mirror the last statement except that you will give it back at your stop loss which you will eventually hit often enough to wipe out your winnings.
If you use a short progression you will mirror the last statement except that your stop loss will be reached much quicker and more often but with the same results of giving all winnings back.
Etc...
No matter how complicated you make your system it makes no difference. It's just a matter of time.
The reality is that not only will you give all your winnings back, but most will give more than you won back.
Some will be lucky and always be a winner. Most will win and lose but gradually lose more and more. A few will be unlucky and lose from the beginning.
Maybe there's no reason for the 2,000th post.
I have gone to the dark side.
Peace to all and enjoy the friendships. In the end, that may be all you have left.
