lol....nothing serious...its just historic.

Welsh talk perfect English, but when the hear you are English in their local pub, the start talking Welsh lol

Thats North Wales. South Wales are OK. They dont give a shit about nationalism.

Welsh Windbags lol

Its because North Wales borders England. I get the feeling they hate the English far more than we dislike them.

I dont think Longshanks (Edward I) helped things much lol

I like Belgium too. But agaisnt Italy wasn't that good enough as they should. I want them to go far but tbh I think France or Germany will win it.

PS: That italian play to knock down with fould 4 times on Belgium's counter attack is disgusting. I mean... it is fine by the rules but still so outrageous and clearly not going for the ball. Strategical but disrespectful and annoying to watch

Interesting results so far. We play a game with my colleagues, where we have to guess the result of each match, guessing the winner/draw right is 1 point, guessing the exact result right worth 3 points, or 6 points if a chosen favorite team wins.
Before yesterday's round my position was 12th out of 18.  :'(  Of course two of my female colleagues who don't have a clue, are on the top of the leaderboard, with twice as many points...They keep guessing the exact results right  ;D

I've picked Germany as the final winner, but I'm not convinced by their performance. Spain however played very well last night.

actually... strange scores so far. very low scores (most are Under) and many goals are scored in the 85+ or extra time.   :ooh:

Spain won Czech in the end
France won Romania in the end
France won Albania in the end
England won Wales in the end
Italy won Sweden in the end
Czech draw with Croatia in the end
Russia draw with England in the end

WTF!

In this case, the women would be right.
And no, rugby is just as bad. Where's the action? Where are the twists and turns?

Rugby is just about go forward, get stopped, try again. Soccer is pas back, pas to the other guy, maybe go forward. Maybe 1 or 2 goals a match. Bah!

AFL is a much better game.

I'm still angry at the Croatians and Portuguese, such an awful boring game last night. Portugal win at the end just made it worse. So far they have four draws after 90 minute games, and yet they are in the quarter finals....

Btw next to chocolate we are experts in beer , ice cream,  wafels , and ......Fries.  Why they call it french fries beats me. They fry it ones. We fry it twice. Anyway try both and you will see ours are ten times better ^^

After Sweden went out of the tournament the swedes has started to cheer for Iceland to go long in the tournament.
One big reason is there national coach Lars Lagerbäck, he was our nation coach as well for a couple of years.

Lagerbäck is smart and just uses what he has in the team and tries to take the best out of them.

I'm impressed that they succeed to win over England! That I salute them for!

I'm not a big football fan , but I always like when an underdog can take one of the big ones.
Hope they will go long in the tournament!

The end ! To much room for Wales. Best team won.

They should beat Portugal as well.....

From your lips to God's Ears!!!

Bad luck. I think you ran out of steam.

IMO....any team that is playing Fellini is short of players.

Not a fan

Having said that, its one player, not 11 like England

Well I think Wales deserved the win. Hard working.. tactically astute and some excellent finishing.. and no I'm not Welsh lol.

I wonder why  :P

Wales was the best today. Our defense was not good. If they keep playing like today then Portugal gonna lose. That's soccer for ya. Each match has to be played.

Some of the penalty takers looked like they had a heart attack just before kicking it. How do you miss from there.
I get bad penallties that are saved...but to completly miss....

That would be awesome. Now the only thing I wanna see is Portugal lose. They so don't deserve to be there.

Germany vs France was really interesting to watch and it was nobody's guess that the latter would progress to the finals.

It has been a great tournament with entertaining games and many surprizes. I am backing France to win the title.
