From what I saw, the whole video is about advantage play.

He had about 5-6% advantage, and made $20m. I'd say thats a very poor edge. I wonder what can be done with a 120% edge.

Here's a video about a "law of a third" player that won $1m:

Yep thats right. Doesnt exist.

(lol) I hit play and I'm sitting here waiting for it to start.

What I meant....I really did not hear the TERM advantage play until later in the vid but you are right, a nice AP YouTube video. I liked this one quite a bit. If you dig and dig, sometimes you can find some gems on YouTube regarding gambling.

"I wouldn't let Phil Ivey play slots in my casino". (rofl) Best quote ever.

I would kiss the ground Phil walks on. Now that is a guy TO LEARN FROM!!!

LEARN LEARN LEARN LEARN LEARN ....or quit please !!!!

When that guy talks, I fu***n listen. Why? Because he knows more regarding the gambling scene than I do. I have no ego issue, learning from him.

Ken

i dont need to learn anything more then i already do

i play for fun, for the social aspect, and the rush...with disposable money

i would never take the man hours required to learn which decks have deformed cards and what card it is with that particular edge defect...never ever

I think I may have found the root of your issues (lol). I know a TON regarding roulette and I still have thousands of more hours left in me, to LEARN MORE!!!! I can admit that, no problem.

One thing for sure regarding edge sorting, you would need to have 20/20 vision I would assume?

RG....its not about the cards per sey (lol). Yes I know, there are no cards with roulette.

Watching/learning this video is about learning how to learn. Phil does not play roulette, I get it.

He studies EVERYTHING CASINO RELATED !!!!! My kinda dude. I would buy him a beer if I could and pick his brain.

And before getting banned from just 2 of thousands of casinos, he won $20m.

Yes but image recognition will know the card virtually instantly, and with higher accuracy. I'll show you what I mean another time. Same technology as my hybrid can be used for edge sorting

"I view the casino as my opponent" > Phil Ivey

Early in his career, 15 hours per day, per visit for 10 years.  That called LEARNING folks.

IDK, I think even having 1% edge over the House is very good in the long term, as the more you will play the more you will win.

Isn´t that impossible, more than 100% edge? For instance an edge of 90% would mean winning nine EC bets out of ten, and a 200% edge would mean betting one unit on an EC, and winning two units every time. Am I wrong?
