Title: Table Layout - Dozens vs Number Root Sums
Post by: stringbeanpc on Jan 04, 08:01 PM 2017
Discovered this a while ago, and wanted to share before I forgot about it.

Sure that most experienced players have seen this before but I want document this here for my own benefit
and to help new players.

Consider that each of the numbers on the table can be reduced to a single digit
number (what I call "Root Sum") as follows:

RS   Numbers

1   1,10,19,28
2   2,11,20,29
3   3,12,21,30

4   4,13,22,31
5   5,14,23,32
6   6,15,24,33

7   7,16,25,34
8   8,17,26,35
9   9,18,27,36

Incidentally, for new players, this is how to know whether a number is red or black without looking at it
Even Root sums 2,4,6,8 are Black
Odd  Root sums 3,5,7,9 are Red
Root Sum 1 alternates Red,Black,Red,Black

Each Root sum has 4 numbers, and each of these 4 numbers exist in a different Quad on the table layout (1-9,10-18,19-27,28-36)

However, there are 3 dozens and 4 quads on the layout, therefore these quads and dozens overlap.

Dozen 1 ( 1-12) has 6 numbers with RS of 1,2,3 (1,2,3    & 10,11,12) and 6 Numbers with RS 4,5,6,7,8,9

Dozen 2 (13-24) has 6 numbers with RS of 4,5,6 (13,14,15 & 22,23,24) and 6 Numbers with RS 1,2,3,7,8,9

Dozen 3 (25-36) has 6 numbers with RS of 7,8,9 (25,26,27 & 34,35,36) and 6 Numbers with RS 1,2,3,4,5,6

Therefore each dozen, has a set of 3 Root Sums which cover half of the numbers within that dozen.

How could we take advantage of this ?

My first thought would be to use Priyanka's Random Thoughts

by creating a pseudo dozens (RS 123, RS 456, RS 789) vs the actual dozens (1-12, 13-24,25-36).

and matching the defining dozens psuedo vs actual.

This could be played with Street Bets

Any other idea's from anyone ?

I think you should go back and redesign this for the "wheel" or any full circle. That way at least you eliminate any pesky overlaps.

It's just groups of numbers after all.

I agree with you. Normally I do prefer wheel based methods over table based methods.

My thoughts in the first post were something I discoverd along the way and wanted to share with others.
