Question:
Should we move to rouletteforum.net?
Option 1: Yes
votes: 3
Option 2: No
votes: 14
See :.rouletteforum.net which has updated software.
The question is should everyone start posting there instead of here, and the moderation will be the same there as it is here now.
I personally would like everyone to migrate there, because the software has in-built features like cut and paste images (its more reliable that the feature I added here). I could move all posts there too, but I'd rather keep it clean.
Remember if you have an account here, your account is already available with the same username and password (if you joined before 1st of June).
If we moved there, nothing here would change except clear advice asking people to post at rouletteforum.net instead. And everyone (at least majority) would just start posting there instead.
Quite scary to be 25 % of all voters...)))
I think NO.
Tnis forum is an enormouse library.
If you can make a search engine that will show a results from both forums, and if any reply made to old posts from this forum will be shown on the new one, then i will definetly vote YES.
As expected opinions are divided. I'll just leave everything as it is. If you prefer here, dont forget to check rouletteforum.net every now and then too. The way it's headed, rouletteforum.net will be moderated much the same way as here, except a little looser. There are stil the same basic rules like no trolling. No respectable forum will allow a troll to ruin the forum for everyone. Trolling is not disagreeing. It is following people around and deliberating annoying them.
Lets move, close this forum and move all accounts to rouletteforum.net.
All accounts are ALREADY at rouletteforum.net except the new ones from the last few days.
I'll just leave things as they are. But remember to keep an eye on the other forum every now and then.

Steve,
This forum is fine -- just leave it as it is and let's continue to stick with it.
If it ain't broke, then don't fix it -- or desert it !
Well you need to shut down this forum and vls forum if you want rouletteforum.net to survive.
Best solution is to lock all topics and members can write only on rouletteforum.net

There are a lot of good systems that would be lost if both are shut down.
Give me the proof of one working system.?
I can´t even remember how many forums were born, sold and reborn and sold again. I stopped writing in every forum (like ignatus, RG or others do).
Im tired of being sold, beeing tracked to another form, disappearing of my posts, asked to rewrite everything on other places.
english-speaking forums: goodbye
Goodbye you too, new forum needs new members with better systems.

first of all the forums need members who does not bash other members for their tries to find something.
You yourself don´t have any clue of a solution either.
Sir Winkel, we all do respect of your previous amazing sharings like wamayc, ext fib etc. Great work. Thanks a lot for all these.

winkel, you will find people who disagree with you everywhere, and in any language.
no forum here is being sold. im simply trying to add value to the forum for you and other members. you know i have a personal interest in my forums. im a roulette enthusiast and member too. i would still have them if they had no monetary value

Nobody will have a problem with diagreements. But bashing is something else.
All forums suffer from hating people also all social medias and discussing forums of any kind.
Yes thats because there are many people with problems. But people are super friendly on mediation forums. If you are in the spotlight for any reason, or successful, you'll get people posting crap about you that you didn't even know existed. Most people have nothing to complain about, many need to not be so sensitive.
Steve,
I am still not sure why you want us to migrate from this site to rouletteforum.net.
Is it because of the .cc part of the URL of this site that you think might prevent search engines from listing this site higher?
Or, conversely, do you think that the .net part of the URL of rouletteforum.net might be more friendly from a search engine results ranking point of view?
Thanks.
It has nothing to do with the address. The forum software has better features and is easier to use.
Anyway this is a dead topic now. I won't be changing anything but i suggest checking rfnet every now and then.
