Title: Ladies, if only
Post by: nottophammer on Mar 08, 09:04 AM 2018
Well watching loose women, they saying are women leaving it too late to have children.
Answer yes, but they only have themselves to blame, indirectly.
Why indirectly.
Let’s go back in time, I remember my mother leaving me with my grandmother back in the early 1960’s; to do a part time job. She didn’t really need to as father earned ok, not say like a bank manager, but the household was ok, could afford to heat the house, feed all, run a car, and even had a TV.
So where am I going with this, well as more and more ladies got part time jobs, clever people were watching what is happening to the income; households were generating. Think about it, young girl leaves school, gets job, has own money, go out eventually meet the love of their life, get married usually before 20, stay at home, look after the household.
What did she do? Stayed at home; would be classed a housewife. Her daily life would be clean, cook, repair clothes, etc.: oh yes probably would have a child within 1st year. Two or three years go by could have 3children.
Let’s say by 25 the lady would be the typical 1960’s lady, she’d have had her children earlier than the ladies of today.
And why would this be?
Remember those clever people watching, government, manufacturers; they could see that as women wanted to be more independent, they were generating more money to their households, these households began to have spare income.
So what do the clever people the manufacturers do they start to increase the price of goods, even food.
As time went by from the 1960’s to present day women slowly made a rod for themselves, they created the two wage society. Houses have gone up and up and even young two wage couples can’t afford to buy their dream home, let alone even have a child, if they want that house.
So they both have too work and this means the lady has to put back having that child to way in their thirties.
Now let’s not get on to equal pay, we’ll save that for another day.

Nottop,
What you have described for your country is also happening in the US.

For middle class households, a two income family is a prerequisite for buying a decent-sized house in a decent neighborhood.

I think the same is true for most western countries -- you need the husband and the wife to both work to be able to buy a house and still maintain a middle class standard of living.

I would like to hear your views on equal pay.  ;D   ;D

Yes Doc and is this why the ladies are having to leave motherhood later and later as they are trying to save up a deposit.

Yes Doc and is this why the ladies are having to leave motherhood later and later as they are trying to save up a deposit.

That is one reason.

Also, many of the women are simply more interested in utilizing the larger number of financially rewarding career options that are open to them nowadays (as opposed to what was available to their older counterparts in previous generations) -- and it is, thus, understandable why  motherhood (because of its attendant career-retarding complications) is taking a back seat in their current life plans.

notto, you bring up a good point.

I am a man but I think that both males and females have been deceived in multiple ways.

There was a good documentary about 15 years ago called "America - Freedom to Fascism" by Aaron Russo.
I would recommend watching the full video, which you can find on youtube

In the meantime Here is an brief interview with Aaron Russo, to give you a feel of the full documentary.

I am Canadian and I mean no disrespect to any Americans by the title of the documentary, it could have been called
"Canada - Freedom to Fascism"

The situation is very similar in Canada, England, Australia, Germany, France, New Zealand, or any westernized country.
We are all victims of a devious plan, in my opinion.

Best Regards,
