Something i did for fun, (Testing), Seemd to work pretty well..(ofc, it can go out of hand, like any other bet, but short-term then, perhaps?)... test yourself?
3 Level Outside bet
Level 1. Bet the Unhit Red/Black and the Unhit High/low. (spin until 1 or 2 bets hit...IF both bets are lost doubleup until a minimum of 1 HIT. if both hit. Reset/Re-start. IF only 1 hit LEVEL 2.
Level 2. Bet the single Unhit bet, and double 1 time. IF hit Reset/restart (level 1) IF Lost go to level 3.
Level 3. Doubleup and bet the 2 Unhit Dozens. IF hit Reset/restart (level 1). IF lost continue progression (doubleup and go to level 1).
Use any other progression, if you don´t like Martingale. *Note. This was a fun game, but test it, and see what you think?

I'm actually surprised your post hasn't gotten any feed-back. I kind of like your approach - It's fun and easy to remember and it doesn't require pen and paper.
Have you done any further testing or development on this approach?

"Bet the single Unhit bet", what do you mean by this? I thought your idea is all about outside bet
