Stay away from VLS. It's been hacked although appears that no permanent
damage has been done to my computer. (Clicked on a link and got a
Russian porn site. When I tried to leave got the usual fake Microsoft help
number.)
Thanks but it isn't hacked. Your computer is probably hacked and will occasionally redirect to scam websites. Do a full system scan with proper AV software.
From the looks of it the PM on this site has been hacked.
You can't read any of the old messages unless it's a new feature.

Do that regularly and again after this incident and nothing found.
It was a fairly amateur attempt to extort money by expanding Firefox to full screen,
disabling the controls at top right and putting what was obviously a web graphic up to
claim that the computer had been disabled because of a security threat.
I had to use the Windows task manager to close Firefox which solved the problem. As
well as having had Avast anti-virus running at the time I also ran Malware Hunter and
UnhackMe, neither of which found anything amiss.

I guess my PM might have been blocked or the database corrupted.
I wouldn't be surprised in either of the cases.
