Actually, this does work. I don't know if you need to apply energy, like with magick, but that's what I have done. For example, as you are stockpiling chips at home strongly visualize and apply energy (your intentions) to expand or multiply the chips. The reason for there to be an increase is you truly do not know how many you have; though it could possibly work with your knowledge (also, maybe you can create another link or bridge to win despite keeping exact count).
Another thing I have done and you can do is to visualize and use your intentions that you are taking more money from the casino as you are exchanging chips for money at the cage.
