Here's a new slant on the ZONE derivatives/waiting for dozen trigger methods much of which have been posted as of late...
Please try it for yourself.
SIngle 0 with le partage (half-stake returns)
Consider only the FIRST DOZEN and THIRD DOZEN only. The 2nd or middle dozen is ignored.
Wait for one of these 2 dozens to miss 4 times. (TRIGGER)
Now here is the difference - we don't bet the missing dozen; instead we make a bet on the even chance that contains the missing dozen; high numbers or low numbers!
If the missing doz is the first doz ( 1 - 12 ) then we bet LOW numbers.
If the missing doz is the last doz ( 25 - 36 ) then we bet the HIGH numbers.
This increases the chance of a hit because we cover an extra 6 numbers...
Simple.
We bet for a MAX OF 4 spins using the progression: 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7...etc. mentioned in another thread. If we win and are not level or + , then we start the next qualifying game at one stage prior to the last bet - otherwise the progression is reset to the beginning.
(eg: If we won on the first bet of 3 and are still not level to our highest recorded figure then the next game starts with the second bet of 2)
When we get a win inside the 4 bet/spin phase we check to see if it came via the missing dozen.
If so we track and monitor the dozens for the next qualifying trigger (1st or 3rd doz only remember)
HOWEVER, if at any time during those 4 spins a win is obtained that is NOT in the missing dozen then we take the win - but continue to bet on the EC at the appropriate stage in the progression for a FURTHER 4 spins. (ie. reset bet/spin count to 1)
*Only if a win is obtained by way of the missing dozen OR if a 4 bet phase has expired do we stop betting on the relevant EC until the next qualifying trigger*
Aim to win 5 units a session.

Hi weddings, thx for your interest. As you can see in above real session I achieved the +5 target on Spin 34 - but continued as I wanted to show a losing game and the recovery to end at +6 for demo purposes...

A difficult and time consuming session... Stopped here at +4. Pretty sure I would have eventually got the 5pts though :)
It was hard work - but if it can work maybe not so bad. They won't always be this tough a session. It will be interesting to see how it fares in subsequent tests...
Remember the tracking and waiting take up a lot of the above spins. Only 38 bets were actually made.

I really like this system. I need to study your explanation to make sure I understand it. Here's the way I see it.
You played 4 sessions of real spins.
You won a total of 20.5 units.
Your largest bet was 5 units.
Your highest drawdown was 22 units.
I am looking for a solid system that doesn't use a high progression. Doesn't have large drawdowns, but wins at a slow but steady rate.
If I took $10,000 and played $50 units and played those 4 games I would have had a highest drawdown of $1100. Acceptable
My highest bet would have been $250. Acceptable
Total amount won would have been $1025. Acceptable
At 30 spins per hour (slow but can be found anywhere) that's 15+ hours. Acceptable
That's about $68 per hour. Acceptable
At 20 hours per week, that's $1360 per week.
In about 7.5 weeks I double my bankroll to $20,000
Then I go to $100 units.

If I read it correctly, you are saying that we continue to bet on the same e.c. for up to two 4 bets if the winning number doesn't come from the qualifying dozen. If we lose both of these, it would mean that the dozen hasn't hit in 12 spins. Nevertheless, we look for another qualifying dozen. This prevents us from chasing a 30 spin sleeping dozen, right??

S'pose it really should have said "ANOTHER" 4 spins instead of "FURTHER" 4 spins. But the main rule to note (which I've marked B) is if the 4 bet phase has expired then you have to STOP and yes, wait for the next TRIGGER to bet... (1st or 3rd dozen has missed for EXACTLY 4 spins)
A loss of all 4 steps in the betting phase means you STOP the betting phase - irrespective of how long the missing dozen has actually slept - it could HIT at any time as you pointed out...
Of course if you win by way of the sleeping dozen then you also STOP betting that EC too.

PS. Another way could be if you won on the EC (but it was not the sleeping dozen) then carry on and play out the the remaining spins of the 4 bet cycle only...
eg: If won on 1st bet only play a possible further 3 bets on the EC. If you won on the 2nd bet only play a possible further 2 bets on the EC. If won on the 3rd - play a further ONE spin... But I did not do that in the tests so far.

Those were quite satisfactory results, I think :)
However, I want to be honest with you and not hide anything and only post truthful results... Table 8 proved a real shocker - nothing going much right and I was down over 100 pts at one stage in the test. This turned out to be the first very bad result encountered under my original rules.
But --- not to be too dismayed or outdone I replayed this session using the idea in the previous post (limiting bet phase to a cycle of 4) - The upshot of that was it turned the result around completely - Now although a low point of 464 out of 500 (36 point deficit) was met I decided to conclude the session eventually finishing with a profit of +2. (still think I would have got the +5 though)
So this might be a better (safer) option for the future. What you think???

I played 5 sessions today. I was using your original rules and even though 3 of the sessions took over 100 spins, they all eventually won 5 units. There were no large drawdowns, -13 was the highest and 4 was the highest bet. 1 session only lasted about 30 spins and I never had a losing bet.
I will switch to your new mod because it does sound like a safer way to play. I don't have the time to type out such nice sessions as you do, but still having my session results posted can only add to the evidence as to whether it's a long term winner or not.
If I have any unusual sessions, I will detail them to give us awareness of what to expect on what we hope to be rare occasions.
I'm going to make a concerted effort to spend what time I have to devote to roulette testing on this system to the exclusion of all others until we make a determination. It'll be like quitting smoking or heroine, but I'll at least make the effort.

Thank for this post. This clears up everything. I didn't realize the rule to continue betting if a win occurred outside the sleeping doz. This will make a difference. I'll start testing this way immediately.

P.S. This can be a grind, but if the potential losses are curtailed, it'll be worth it. I do think we're going to have to have a stop loss eventually. Where, will have to be determined. The killer for a system like this is if you can have a 100 unit drawdown and then have to climbed back up. For me, that's what makes THE ZONE a tough system to play.

Happy to report all winners again - but the last 2 sessions were a helluva grind - which is what can occur using this method as you have evidently noticed... Winning at roulette is not easy. But then anything worthwhile never is. We must proceed with what we think is a secure framework and try not to "gamble". We must be a winner - not a gambler!
Maybe, as Fender says, it would be a good idea to settle for a lower profit target eg: +3
This *should* reduce session spin time and at times possibly help with drawdowns and bet levels... So from now on I will play until +3 in profit. If a session is proving lengthy or difficult maybe get out as soon as poss and even accept a +2 ?
Replaying the last 2 sessions again for a +3 results in this:

Another 5 winning sessions. However the stand out session is table 8. This session was *really bad* and i.m.h.o. would have been abandoned as it was losing and just not delivering. It DID end up winning but look at the spin count and the drawdown!!
I have an idea now how to prevent this sort of occurrence as I can see why it happens and I think I have the answer now.. More later..

I too have had the sequence from below hell. I went to used some recorded spins from spielbank Wiesbaden Permanenzen von Tisch 3 vom 18.05.2010.
I started out with a win of +5 after 81 spins. An easy session.
Then I started out losing. I was never higher than zero. I ran out of numbers after 302. I ended up at -177 with a highest bet of -14. I lost 56 bets and won only 27. That's about 8-10 hours of playing and who knows how long to bet back out of the hole.
If you want, I can post the spins and you can see how you would have played them. It's possible I did something wrong. Although, I don't think so. I may have made a mistake or two but not enough to change anything much.

George, my idea is to reduce the betting spin cycle to 3, 2 or maybe even to 1 bets (a bit like Fender's "CROSSPLAY 5" where he bets for 2 times only on a qualifier)
Here is that 'session from hell' again at table 8, Casino DUISBURG 25 Jun 2010:
table 8: +5.5 in 370 spins; maxdrawdown=95; highest bet=10
Now if I replay that awkward difficult session with a 3 bet/spin cycle:
table 8: +3.5 in 299 spins; maxdrawdown=77; highest bet=9
and now with a 2 spin cycle:
table 8: +3.5 in 285 spins; maxdrawdown=70; highest bet=9
Better. But still a lot of spins and the high bets and fairly large drawdown...
and now playing for just ONE spin cycle:
table 8: +3.5 in 349 spins; maxdrawdown=19; highest bet=5
This is much better! The drawdown is much more acceptable for a really bad session like this, and the highest bet made is halved in size from the original..
The spin count has grown even higher - yes - but then this is a really difficult session encountered and I cannot expect the same number of winners from one spin attempts so the trade-off may be bearable...
The progression I did not change - but because now if using just ONE spin sequences on a EC this opens up the possibility of using PLUSCOUP or GUETTING to achieve the goal/target sooner.

table 18 was a lengthy session mainly due to lack of qualifiers and up/down streaks but apart from that no problem with high stakes or massive drawdowns.
Overall picture is that this is the way to go... One spin bets.
NOW the prog does the job and is efficient - can it be tweaked to produce even better results??

Hey Altantis just a suggestion if we are able to bet on any 5 double streets of our choice we can also consider the 2nd dozen rite? Therefore adding more triggers but of cause it has to have another progression.

I re-ran the session from hell by just considering the 1st bet after tracking and came up with -31 with a high bet of 7.
If you want to look at it yourself if begins on spin 82 of the session you just published. The 3 spins before are 6,23,26 and the sessions begins with 3,12,35, etc...
I haven't retracked the whole session. It may be that some of the bets may change because of tracking thru some of the bet sequences resulting in a new bet signal. I'm not sure. Running out of time right now.

I can confirm that is a horrible session using the one spin mod. I am getting -44 playing from spin 82 for 301 spins (end of spins) with the last bet being the 2nd bet@ 6 units.
Bad sessions like this are going to wipe out previous gains - so they cannot be tolerated!
Back to the drawing board to see if this can be avoided with some kind of mod which can help reverse such an unwanted situation... if there is one to be found that is!
This system has been refined and streamlined with 3 mods so far and you have witnessed it evolve (for the better, I think) over just a few days - now it's back to the roulette alchemists lab in a quest for a formula to transmute unwanted losses into the gold of an unfailing strategy :)
You are all invited to help join in the search. One solution may be a different progression or some amending of the mechanics involved... Sometimes it helps to forget about the problem and return to it later when refreshed. I will do that and sleep on the matter as I am now tired from testing today. Goodnight. :-\

It seems that you had a little different outcome than I did, but not good nonetheless.
I have written my wins/losses out in a series which is this:
-,-,+,-,+,+,-,-,+,-,-,-,-,+,+,-,-,-,-,+,+,-,-,-,+,-,-,-.
I tried a fibonacci 1,1,2,3,5,8 etc... and came out with -8. I tried a cancellation method and it was -65. The only thing that I can see that wins is a 5 step martingale.
I suppose we could consider a stop loss. It doesn't do horrible until the last half. Maybe to quit while you're not too far down after a certain number of spins. At about spin 150 I got back to -1. Maybe put a limit loss to a certain amount if you reach 150 spins without being positive.
I think we should stick to the +5 target for each session unless we get to 150 spins, then quit at anything above say -5.
I think that we are finding out that no matter how stable a system appears, there is always that string of spins that will kill it, and so we have to have some rules to allow us losses and determine if they ultimately wipe out all our winnings. If they do, then it's back to the drawing board.

I played your "hell session" using the progression:
up 1 on a loss; down 1 on a win (when I was close to recovering I just bet the necessary amount to show a profit of +1 if it was less than going down 1 from the current level)
Reset to 1 if level or ahead of highest recorded figure as usual.
Anyhow - now I get this result sticking with the ONE SPIN CYCLE:

It seems every now and again you get a real grinder that is hard to recover from like on tables 5,9.

We cannot afford to come up against such sessions as those...
I, personally, would under no circumstances be prepared to play this system unless we can see these "bad" games eradicated somehow...
I'm disappointed a little. Possibly the bad results might be improved if keeping the new progression but switching to a 2 spin cycle of betting?? But I'm beginning to suspect that it may make little difference and although a more aggressive progression might work could also be dangerous as well...
This system is based on ZONE principles and I thought would have been safer since extra numbers are covered but as you can see from above results there's no guarantees it will work out favourably for a profit.

(a simple progression for small to medium bankrolls)
This is suitable for the Even Money bets in Roulette and could also be used for Mini-Bac.
You commence with a 1 unit bet and you continue betting 1 unit until you lose 2 consecutive bets.
When this happens you increase your bet to 2 units and continue to bet 2 units until you
a) win 2 consecutive bets at which point you reduce your next bet to 1 unit
b) lose 2 consecutive bets which means you increase your next bet to 3 units.
The progression is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - if you reach 5 you should restart at 1 or you can continue 6, 8, 10.
Just remember you go up to the next number after 2 consecutive losses and you go down one step to the next lowest number after 2 consecutive wins.
For example: if you win 2 consecutive bets of 4 units each your next bet would be 3 units.
Have used this on the "bad" session on table 8 at Duisburg yesterday.

How I played it:

Betted using the above progression UNTIL a win was obtained. I didn't use cycles at all. I simply continued betting the relevant EC until ANY win occurred. (this can mean several bets)
After a win I STOPPED and waited for next qualifier.
If I was level or ahead of my highest recorded figure - I reduced staking to 1 for next qualifier otherwise I continued betting at the level according to 2U-2D rules. Exception was if at any time I could bet a lower stake to gain a +1 profit advantage.
It totally transforms that "bad" session but it remains to be seen how it will pan out as a general rule of play... I'm a bit happier now since I turned that round :)

Seemed like a good idea so I stuck with it for a while but unfortunately I don't like the way it will regularly produce a really bad result which simply wipes out previous hard earned profits and defeats the object.. That and the fact it is a real grinder for small profits and I just couldn't see myself playing it for real in live casino. I may return to it in the future, who knows? Anyhow I enjoyed the experience and the process of developing and refining the rules in my search for an optimum strategy which I really believed would lead me to something special. Alas, it was not to be - at any rate on this occasion.
I propose to return to warrior's "perfect ten" system and devote some effort to that now.

It's a very stable system. I don't understand why it should work any better than a variety of other methods where we bet for or against a series of 5 spins.
I have a lot of respect for Warrior and his systems. If he still plays it, then it's at least worth looking at to see if it's a system you might like to play.
