Title: Biased/Incorect Spin Data
Post by: ophis on Jan 25, 05:06 PM 2011
I was analyzing hit rate of specific numbers after specific numbers and I have discovered that actuals provided by Bayes in this thread link:://rouletteforum.cc/actuals-spins/wiesbaden-actuals/ (link:://rouletteforum.cc/actuals-spins/wiesbaden-actuals/) are either from Biased wheel or simply are modified incorrectly.

I will show this on example.

Table layout:
After number X     number Y     have hit Z times.
    X
Y  Z

Analyst of 10 000 Live single zero wheel (source: VLS forum)
(link:://img255.imageshack.us/img255/2462/10ktn.png) (link:://img255.imageshack.us/i/10ktn.png/)

Analyst of 20 000 playtech (source: VLS forum)
(link:://img37.imageshack.us/img37/5/20k.png) (link:://img37.imageshack.us/i/20k.png/)

Analyst of 170 000  (source: unknown)
(link:://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8366/170k.png) (link:://img148.imageshack.us/i/170k.png/)

(link:://img217.imageshack.us/img217/3388/200kbv.png) (link:://img217.imageshack.us/i/200kbv.png/)

As we can clearly in all those examples numers Z are rather similar to each other.
Ball lands equally across the wheel.

(link:://img39.imageshack.us/img39/4059/700k.png) (link:://img39.imageshack.us/i/700k.png/)

We can clearly see that some numbers didn't hit at all after specific numbers.
I think that those numbers are either form Biased wheel or they are modified.

All results based on those spins should be invalid. And spins deleted from forum.

Interesting findings Ophis.

Like U say, there shouldn't really be ANY zero's in the 700,000 spin data, since in the
"Analyst of 10 000 Live single zero wheel (source: VLS forum)"
there is only ONE zero in the whole chat?

Unless I missed any others!!

10 000 is low. randomness probably didn't level up in self.

if other numbers are from range 5-15 it can happen it will be 0. but not in 700 000 where other numbers are 250+

experiment had purpose to check for example if after number 25 have been spun some other number will never appear. so we could bet 35 numbers beside the one/two that never appear and have 100% hit rate.

ofc this is impossible.

...just wanted to check.

One thing to be careful with the Spielbank-Wiesbaden numbers is how they are recorded in the actual casino. They use one of these electronic 'readers' and it often throws up repeats when a number has not repeated and numbers can not show at all which may have appeared on the physical wheel.
Probably better nowadays to test at some of the live online sites like dublinbet or fairway/castle/celtic casino. They are plenty of them around and at least you know that you are going to get accurate numbers.

Thanks Ophis. I got those spins from the VLS forum, and never thought to run an analysis on them.  :-[

Maybe random.org is the way to go for large samples.
