Hi TwisterUK,

this has been discussed before. The Parrondo Paradox is a combination of games where 1 game is a positive expectation game. By combining a negative expectation game with a positive expectation game in a certain way, the end result is a positive expectation game, although both combined naivly would lead to a negative expectation game!

The whole idea is that the selection of the positive expectation game depends on the bankroll, maybe you can find a system using the Parrondo paradox, I couldn't (that doesn't say much of course)

Experts however did not negate the option that it mightbe applicable to casino games however.

I did read somewhere several years ago that a group of people looked into this regarding casino games and they were of the opinion that it may be of use with the game of blackjack!

This kind of ties in with what Red Dwarf said above ''The Parrondo Paradox is a combination of games where 1 game is a positive expectation game.'' Now we all know blackjack can swing between a positive and negative expectation.

I will need to get my old computer from out of the attic and see if I can find it on the hard drive, lol.

this attachement is mainly about craps. but at the end of it there's a short paragraph about PP and how it might be used.
