Title: Safe recovery
Post by: superman on Sep 14, 11:28 AM 2011
Well, I have been stuck offline for the last 3 or 4 days which gave me a lot of free time to fiddle, what I have been doing is trying to combine 2 methods that compliment each other and use one of them to cover the other ones a$$ for recovery from the progression hole.

Heres a hypathetical example, inside numbers, we always chase 1 or the other, sleepers or hot numbers, now, there are more than 1 type of hot numbers, those that hit 2 times and those that hit more over a given history of spins, lets say you chase sleepers and the hot ones keep winning,  on many occasions there are more sleepers than hot so its a fair bet, rather target the hot numbers and when there are either, too little of them in your sample OR you have lost 3 bets in a row, switch over to the otherside for 2 or 3 bets which 99% of the time will hit within 2, but your hot numbers bet may have taken you deeper.

I think it's fair to say for the majority of RNG inside number players, 1 cent bets are the order of the day, trying to keep progressions down is paramount, my target is under $1 per number or there abouts, if your selection is fairly accurate you would probably see certain points when the progression has gone upto $2, $3 or $5 and these are few and far between and well below the table limit, but, thats about 9 or 10 steps of progression and could empty a $50 bank, so, by going to the other side, that that you are betting against, at a certain point usually gets the recovery over without the headache of going too deep.

Food for thought.
