Title: Does anyone actually Enjoy playing Roulette ?
Post by: rolf-harris on Oct 12, 04:40 AM 2011
I was wondering how many of you really enjoy time at the roulette wheel or just use roulette as a means to an end...IE make a profit ( if possible ) and get out..
Would anyone play with real money and not mind if win or lose... just for the pleasure of playing the game ?
Personally I am one of the first group. I get quite nervous when staking real cash and can't wait for some favourable outcome so I can quit...... till the next ( traumatic ) time.

I can't stand casinos and risking money wreaks havoc on my nerves; but I want to find a loophole and exploit it so I can make extra money.

Even a gambling addict would not enjoy this game if he keeps losing. Only a person having tons of money can enjoy this game without winning.

I actually enjoy the math of the game.  I am one of those sick people that have numbers running through their heads constantly.  To help me sleep at night, I run math problems.  The statistical side of roulette is what keeps me searching, and I get a thrill from fighting this beast.  I don't care much about the money side of things, although I have enjoyed watching my bankroll grow with my methods.  I would go crazy waiting for a live game though - not nearly enough stimulus.

I enjoy playing roulette more when I'm winning than when I'm losing.  :D

I don't get to B&M casinos too often, but they can be fascinating places to observe human behaviour, and the environment is more pleasant now that smoking is banned.

Like Colbster, I enjoy the maths of the game, and the possibility of making money from your efforts provides motivation for what could otherwise be a dry intellectual exercise.

Given I am winning, then I enjoy it. :)

For me there is a fascination with each spin being an independent trial (although there could be an exactly same spin with the wheel rotor at the exact speed and get a different result.)

You have to ask yourself, "Would i go to the casino if i knew i were going to lose, or at least lose overall, all the while being goaded on, and quietly laughed at by the "bosses"?"

And instead of immersing yourself in the constant internal, losing struggle of "to go, or not to go".

Which math, roulette-math?  I, on the other hand, must admit that i have found the real math, the type taught in real schools allowing real purposes, to be anything but "a dry intellectual exercise".  Even pure, abstract math can be a "ball" once you get on to it and find some more real applications for also that.  Hey, eventually you'll start to see the math, itself, in the physics... and beyond.  A good starting place for that here is the Wizard's Vegas board, which i always recommend to they who have convinced themselves of such "invincibilities".  Keeping in mind, of course, that ultimately even that sort of board falls ridiculously short of the real thing.

Just look at what became of baccaratforums.com , at (link:://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss128/garnabby/Justanotherfor-profitboard.jpg) (link:://i568.photobucket.com/albums/ss128/garnabby/Justanotherfor-profitboard.jpg) .

Why have everyone started to play roulette? Actally to earn additional money, besides the main salary from the job place.
I do enjoy playing roulette. After the hard working day nothing pleasures me better than to play roulette.I play at BetVoyager casino, with 1 cent chips ( I guess you know they offer such kind size of chips). Doesn't realy matter if I would have a winning session,or a looser - for me,the process it self is fine. In case of a win - and collecting a sum of ,at least, 10 euros requesting a withdraw which normally get's reviewed in 24 hours ( pretty fast comparing to other online casinos).
Good luck and happy winnings!

I enjoy winning. When I play properly I wait a lot and don't bet often. Not very exciting. But winning never gets old.

Im with colbster. In my case, I have to keep thinking something to death to stave off depression. I am also a big chess player too and studying openings and games is similar to roulette systems.
I think that the bit in your head which instigates depression gets roped into doing calculations by the brain boss when there is too much thinking to be done, so hes too busy to do the depression thing.
I forget to eat when I am studying roulette or chess.

Love the challange and people watching, making a bit extra spending money helps too! ONLY at real B & M casinos, the little extras( free drinks cheap food and sometimes free rooms) help make it more enjoyable as well.
