pretty simple:

Have Column A be your spins
Have Column B,C,D track your dozens (respectively)

use a vlookup to simplify it.

I'll attach a spreadsheet in 5 mins.

Sorry Step - you've got me confused now.  If you want it to show last 2 dozens, my sheet does that as well... so not sure what you wanted.

You have five numbers: 1,1,2,3,1.  Are these dozens or spins produced by the wheel?

Your x chart has six xs.

If we knew what system you were playing, it might help.  Or how you're wanting to bet.

i just want to follow the last 2 dozens/columns

my chart represents the dozens, because the 1 was 2x behind eachother it doesnt count for an "x" :)

so what you see there is
1 2
x x
   2  3
   x  x
1
x     x

understand it somewhat :)

i want excel to show me the last 2!! (not 1 doz) dozens always on the horizontal line.

@ MM

Almost  ;D

maybe its better understandable if i say, the last 2 unique dozens.

3       x  d3
2    x x  2&3
2    x x  2&3
1 x x     1&2
3 x    x  1&3
2    x x  2&3
2    x x  2&3
1 x x     1&2

Hopefully this works - Spreadsheet should show last 2 unique dozens.  If zero appears, still tells you to bet last 2 unique dozens.  Didn't test it much so if you find an error, lemme know.

Matty, here's another one a bit more tough....
say i want to count the last 10 spins and show/highlight the doz with most hits....

did you guys trade out Gasol?
nash is a bit old...shouldn't you be going after a younger pg and get him up to speed for the years to come...soma like the greens did with rondo...

I'll build a sheet for you shortly Vund.

Nash, I think, is a great pick up.  With 2 7footers under the net, we can afford the defensive liablility of Nash.  I am predicting he'll lead the league in assists next season.

thx nick. that's just what the doctor ordered! it caps at 10, and deletes the 11th result so it counts only the last 10. i'm trying to tailor it to continue counting up to say last 12, 16, 37, etc. what argument is making it to cap at 10 spins max?!

Column C, Row 6 is where the tracking function needs to be changed if you want it to track other amounts of spins, ie. 20 spins, 37 spins etc.

I already have a 20 spin tracker as well and have attached it.

Now you can see the difference between the Col C, Row 6 of both spreadsheets so you should be able to change it for any spin count.

Enjoy . . .

This would take forever when calculating 3000 spins.
Could you kindly show how to automatically calculate

Don't know if you saw that Matty already coded the "unique dozen" function earlier.

I took the liberty of copying his formula and put it in your spreadsheet attached.

Hope this is what you wanted.

Hi Badger . . .

Are you from the "Badger State" of Wisconsin?

I've tested 100's of systems in Excel.  If a system shows promise using Excel's RAND function, then I proceed to test it with live spins or online casinos.

I have attached your latest spreadsheet and expanded it to 100 spins.  You can expand to 1000 if you desire.

I then added the RAND function in Column B which gives you 100 spins at a time.  Simply press function key F9 to get another 100 spins and INSTANT RESULTS.

You can change the RAND function to NO for Zero or YES for Zero in Column B-Row 2.

If you are already familiar with this function, please disregard.  Perhaps, other members may find it of use.

Cheers . . .

Nick

Hello Signurinu . . .

There are many ways to track number sets, unique or otherwise.  Excel can just about do anything.

Stepkevh has kindly shown one way of tracking unique number sets.

Here is another.

The more you learn about Excel, the easier your journey will be.

I believe Ophis already has a tracker for F Lat Ino's sector system. Do a search on it and you can download his tracker.

Cheers . .  Nick

Thanks for trying to help me but is not exactly what i need, actually I know how to do what you guys have just showed me. Stepkevh, you got it right but the problem with your spreadsheet is that is not returning the last unique sectors, there is were I get stuck too.

I'll try to explain better so here is a screenshot:
[attach=1]

What I need is some formula to find the last 4 uniques sectors, as you can see in image this will be  1,2,5,and 8. A way to do it i believe will be with a formula that will scan the selected area/columns (B1 to J42) and give as result the last 4 uniques sectors but i don't know how to do that.
Nickmsi, I know excel can do about everything so maybe I should try to get help from an excel forum?
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: signurinu on Jul 23, 12:09 PM 2012
i don't mind if the sectors are all in one column like this:

[attach=1]

Still the problems remain the same, how to get the last 4 unique sectors.
Nickmsi, I need this to test some ideas i have, not exactly for the Flatino systems so any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Signurinu . . .

This may be a duplicate reply, having trouble posting today.

Yes, Excel has forums but what I find better and easier is to just "Google" an Excel question and you will be surprised at the results.

Regarding your question, you do not want to know if just the last 4 numbers are unique, rather you want to know what are the last 4 unique numbers in the previous spins????

Nick
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: signurinu on Jul 23, 12:32 PM 2012
If by numbers you are referring to the sectors, Yes, that's exactly what i need :) I'm trying to build a more complex sheet. Once built i will only have to put the spins and voila.. get the session result. But that's something i can only achieve if I get past this problem.
I have posted here because it was similar to Stepkevh request for dozens, so i thought is wasn't necessary to open a new tread.
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Nickmsi on Jul 23, 02:16 PM 2012
OK, let us see if we are getting closer to what you want.

First, you need to get your first set of 4 unique number sets(sectors, splits etc)

Then we check each spin to see if that number set is a repeat, if so, we continue to use the previous unique number set.

If the new spin is not a repeat, we form a new unique number set.

Is this what you are looking for?

Nick

btw whilest we are busy.

Does someone know how to make something go down with the entire page if you scroll down in excel.
For example, my list with doz and cols is up there in line 1
and if i scroll down to line 100, my first line is gone and i cant see what dozl/cols it is.
How can i keep the first line "locked" so that its scrolls down with the rest ??

Hi Nick. Thanks as always for your help.
I use this formula : =IF(ISNA(INDEX(B4:B12,MATCH(B13,B4:B12,0))),"",B13)

However, I have to keep changing the range on the column manually.
So on line 2, I have B1:B2
When I drag the formula down to the cell below it becomes B2:B3, where I want it to
remain B1 and the B2 must change to B3.

Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Nickmsi on Aug 25, 03:40 PM 2017
Badger, to stop the B1 from changing as you go down the sheet, simply make it B$1 in the first row.

Matty ,will check out when I get back later today

Hi Notto
The "" means an empty or blank cell.
So your formula means : If cell C2 is empty("") then make the new cell empty as well.
However if cell C2 contains a 1, place a x in the new cell, if cell C2 contains any other number make the new cell blank.
Hope that helps.
I also am not an expert on excel. Learning new skills is always good.

=IF(C2="","",IF(C2=1,"x",""))

Badger you are correct in explaining this formula. As one gets more experience you could also code:

=If(C2=1,"x","")

It does the same thing but with less code.

Both ways work.

Could anybody help me with excel coding.  :(
I am tracking Double Streets, A, B, C, D, E, F
I want to track the last 4 that have come up.
1.     31   F
2.       1   A
3.     21   D
4.       3   A
5.     26   E
6.     28   E
7.    36   F
8.    10   B
9.    35   F
10.       1   A
11.     27   E
12.     23   D

So at spin 6 it will be E,A,D,F
At spin 7 : F,E,A,D
Spin 8 : B,F,E,A  etc

I have attached an excel showing how I do it for the last 2.

Hi Badger,Nick
Below; i have at cell I:12; =IF(C12="","1",IF(C12="R","","1"))

It gives C12, 1; meaning it took 1 spin; the same for C13,C14 again 1 spin, but C15 blank,yes a repeat, so i need C16 to read 2; it took 2 spins. Same for C21; 2 spins, and C25 should read 4 spins

I've moved R's and 1's around and now starting to find it impossible to get it to count, do i need to add a count IFS ?

If you really want cells in column I to show "" on a repeat, you should use the following in column J:
For J12:
=IF(C11="",1,J11+1)
Then for I12:
=IF(C12="",J12,"")

If you don't mind column I displaying 1111211112111212312123, then, for I12:
=IF(C11="",1,I11+1)

I think....

Thanks BBB
But i'm getting all values of 1 and =IF(C11="",1,I11+1) 1's and value error.

Again thanks, i'll carry on with formulas and functons for dummies, be along time getting the right formula thou

Badger and BBB
A mighty big thank you from Notto.

But had a problem deleting blank cells, in column H, the cells looked blank but the info bar showed data is there. So with help from overflow block, found the answer.
Had to use the find box, sorted.
Again thanks :thumbsup:

So,

I thought I'd share some Excel features I learned a few months ago, for those who do not know yet.

Will start with macros.  This is a great tools that will let you run thousands of trials overnight as you sleep.  And it's easy.

First, decide of which informations are to be extracted or memorized.  In this example here, KTF, we will want to save :
1) Score ( or goal);
2) At which spin the goal was attained;
3) What maximal progression was needed;
4) What minimum br was reached before goal.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source4a9ef.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txQiQ)

I like to put these infos all aligned on one row.  You'll see later why.
So, all nrs are entered, the game is played, you're ready to save the infos.  Ok.

The macro functions is in the View section:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source5b110.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/tx1sy)

We will record a new macro:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source53f44.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/tx3YL)

It is a first of three macros.  Let's call it ktfone (only letters are accepted to the macro's name), and choose the key K:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source15fc4.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txArS)

Now , it starts recording everything you will be doing.
So, KTF-one:
1) We will first select the cells containing the datas we want to keep, then right-click -> Copy (or just ctrl+c):
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcec2c92.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txRKo)

2) We then paste the value of the cells ( the 123 icon) in the row just below, so one right click in the leftmost cell below:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source0decc.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txXEp)

3)Ctrl+c (or right click -> Copy) again the newly ceated cells.
4) Insert copied cells a few rows below:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcea16c2.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txap0)
Slide them down:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source4dfb7.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txbHH)

We have now created the basics of our data extractor.  We now stop the recording:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcef5569.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txCed)

From now on, anytime you press ctrl+k, these 4 operations will run automatically.
After 2:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source9d10f.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txDaU)
See, the new datas are pushing the older ones lower.

Let's create a second macro called ktftwo, with key t:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source5987b.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txNig)
This one also records everything you'll be doing ( only on your Excel file, though!).
So if you press ctrl+k 10 times then stop the recording, this new macros will run the first macro 10 times.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source7f1fa.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txu2V)

Let's create a third macro, ktfthree, key f:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourced1c05.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txB1t)
Press ctrl+t then stop recording.
So by pressing ctrl+f, macro ktftwo will run.

Let's dive into the macro text itself.  Go to View Macro:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcebc3f5.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txIrf)

Choose ktftwo and edit:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source8ce5b.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txLn1)

Gets you here.  You see: ktftwo runs ktfone ten times.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source7eb4c.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txrS5)

You can simply select these 10 steps, copy them:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourced431d.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/tx4pr)
Click at the end of the 10th step, press enter.  Paste the copied steps on the line below:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourceb205f.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/tx78x)

Or, easier: ctrl+v, enter, ctrl+v, enter, ctrl+v, enter,...  I know you can enter at least 300 times the previous macro in this one.

Same for ktfthree:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcea95ba.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txfeK)
We see it produces ''ktftwo'' once.
Same as above: copy this step as many times as you want, up to 300 times ( could be 400, not sure).

So, what do we have here?  A simple ctrl+f will run 300x300, 90k trials of whichever sim you want and whichever datas you want to save for further analysis.

I normally use Excel's random function, although some do not like it.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourceb2c97.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txhaB)
It simply creates a new set of nrs on any movement.  This ensures the nrs are changed from one data recording to another.

You can also record the first macro as such, if, say, you want to use nrs from random.org or whatever.  Make sure the nrs you want to use are available in another sheet (or same sheet, but specific column).
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcec5170.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txiP9)

The macro would select the amount of nrs you want, copy paste them in your Nrs column, continue to record the operations as described in the first macro, delete (then shift-cell up) how many nrs you want, then stop the recording.
So, example, you have a 100k spins to source nrs from.
Start recording, select a hundred, paste them in your nrs column, run your operations, go back to nr source, delete 25, stop recording.  A 100k nrs, if deleting 25 each time, will let you have 4000 runs ( actually, 3997).

********************
Now I did mentionned earlier that I insert the copied cells a few rows below.  Why is that?
It leaves room to add some other measurements that will automatically calculate what you want as the trils go by.

You can add the sum of your game score:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcee3a57.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txg2Z)

You see I selected not only the cells with a value in them, but also the one above.  This one is fixed, as opposed to the other ones that are moving.  Doing so will let the first measured cell remain the same (here, AA9), and the last measured cell to remain the last non-blank cell.  Otherwise, only 2 cells will be measured.  So as goes the macro, you can just observe how your score evolves, or how the average rises...
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source86f4f.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txj1D)
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source232ad.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txc4l)
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/source3dee7.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txqnc)

If you want to apply these calculations to the neighbouring columns, select the cells to be copied:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcebb9f0.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/tx8Sa)

See that small square black spot on the lower right side of the selected cells?  Click on it, hold the button, drag:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/08/28/sourcee79cb.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/txZuF)

Good enough for now.

************************

I might soon explain other little tricks for Excel, basics that are so helpful to know.

Stay tuned!

That's perfect.  That's exactly what we need to gather empirical evidence whether or not there is a reason to have faith in such systems as Keep The Faith.  This should let people know exactly what they are getting into before they start.

Hi All,

I don't know if I should start a new thread but I have a little question:

can you help me to find Finals units in a list of number? There is formula in excel that works?

Example:

10 23 34 3 35   ----> 0,3,4,5     missing :1,2,6,7,8,9

I'm inventing a system that I like to play, :smile: and I'm trying to do a scheme in excel.
Thanks a Lot

Kind Regards

I think it's ''RIGHT'' function.  U can google this.  Just learned about this one lately.  Like '' =right(b5,2) '' will gove you the last 2 digits of cell b5.  Never used it but i think its really easy.  Ask id you need help.

Hello Bigbroben,

thank you for the suggestion; I have been able to find finals present in ten numbers.

Now I'm trying to list the missing finals in other cells with the strange formula :

= SMALL(IF(ISNA(MATCH(ROW(A$0:A$9);A$0:A$9;0));ROW(A$0:A$9));ROW(A1))

that return the missing finals..but does not work!
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Gitano on Oct 06, 12:20 PM 2018
this could help:

"Sometimes it requires not only identifying missing numbers sequence, but also listing missing numbers too. You can deal it with following steps:

1. in the adjacent cell, please enter the formula = SMALL(IF(ISNA(MATCH(ROW(A$1:A$30),A$1:A$30,0)),ROW(A$1:A$30)),ROW(A1))

A1:A30 = range of numbers, the sequence to check against is from 1 to 30

2. Press the Ctrl + Shift + Enter Keys together to finish the formula. Copy down the formula until you get #NUM! errors meaning all missing numbers have been listed. See screenshot:

Post by: Bigbroben on Oct 06, 01:50 PM 2018
Just explain what you want to do exactly: you want to play the missing finals until there are none left, or until profit, or?

The RIGHT or LEFT function returns a value that is considered a text.  To make it a nr, example, last digit from cell A3,type =VALUE(RIGHT(A3,1).

I do not uderstand what the equation you copied represents.  It is veyond what I know so far.

See attached: I prefer keeping it simple and use 10 cells instead of one that contains a way too long equation.  It tracks how many of each final happened since 1st spin.

Check it, tell me if you need more parameters.

Hi All,
Hi Bigbroben,

I show you my system in the excel attached. :thumbsup:

I don't want to play finals until them appear because is not adviseable in roulette.. :D

but , as you can check in the example here, each -ten- spins I recalculate the missing finals and bet the new missing finals number all, for three times only; After that I continue wait for seven spins and recalculate the missing finals and bet 3 times and so on...

So, I identified ok with the RIGHT excel formula the finals appeared , now I would show in a cell the missing ones and this is the problem. Maybe with the MATCH formula ?

Take the example only as an example to understand the system..because I want to do it more light and smart

thanks

Hi Guys,
Thank You Bigbroben
Thank You 6th-sense

I was able to complete this file but, now I'm stuck at AI column, where I would to show only a WIN although there could be 1, 2 or 3 winnings..Doing that I will be able to count how much winnings and losses in a session.
Do you have an idea ?

Important note :   The scope will be count how many "W" and "L" with 3-finals or 4-finals betting I have

I will play only when I have 3-finals miss (for 3 times) with a progression! check this and you'll be surprise!

Hey Gitano,

did a little work for you:
it's simple, like you described:
Track 7 spins, play 3 spins with the finals that are left.
Gave you the option to stop on first win or play all three.

I am hoping to be able to modify it later on to introduce parameters such as tracking length, play length, prog, goal, other stats...

In the meantime, enjoy!

P.S.: Of course, you can also find Waldo somewhere in there...

Hi Big! Hi all,
if I can suggest a nice feature should be to show the W/L sections after 10 spins if the case of 2 finals, 3 finals 4 finals and 5 finals missing, in a way to know the statistics for each situation..

For example I would play ( and it is what I do in live playing actually) wait for sectors of 10 spins and only bet in case of 3-finals missing because numbers to bet are less.. :-)
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Gitano on Oct 08, 07:29 AM 2018
Let me show only an example I play this in this way in a continuous game:

This is only an example but for me works, need a lot of patience because a person have to wait 110 spins..but it workswith small progression! and it play only 3 finals after 10 spins.

I wait "LL" with  3 finals or sometimes only 1 "L", let passing series of 10 spins in wich 4/5-finals wins, but I don't care of them I will win with 3-finals.
the file will help to know the probability of success playing this way..
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Gitano on Oct 08, 07:39 AM 2018
In "continuous betting" thread I've shown the W/L ( within 3 spins)  stats if betting at 11th,12th,13th,  all missing finals after 10 spins.. The winning W could appear in 11º,12º,13º spin.

KRegards

Hi,
here in the green part you can find what I mean: put the numbers and  et'voilá!
It gives the consecutive sequence for 3 missing finals  ( 2 or 1 or 4 or 5 )  and when it Wins! follow the arrow..

more numbers..more probability to win Ehehehe :twisted: :lol:
but I'm improving my excel..
Keep updating! and still curious about Bigbroben file!  U can do everything so!

Hi Bigbroben,
Hi All,

someone can check this file in column AZ ? Why the LOOKUP formula consider the 3 like a 3 and 2  ? and a "4" like a 4,3,2,? ? Why it do not consider only a 3?
I would to show only the 3L for example .

Thanks
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Bigbroben on Oct 09, 02:23 PM 2018
LOOKUP function will look at value that are <= to what you write.  So if you want 4, and there is no 4 in the range you lookup for, it will give you the highest value still below your target (I think).
Why did you use IFERROR?  I do not know this one so, you probably have a reason I do not know yet.

If it really is 3 you want, I'd do like this:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2018/10/09/source6167e.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/Ts2sU)

Here in second sheet I have %.  :thumbsup:
If you put numbers on first sheet, copy past it and find yours stats,
..still not so automatic  :yawn:   :-\as I want..
but playing 3FINALS missing each 10# spins it is 63.95%..

Some work is waiting to find stats without bet if -7,-8,-9 finals appears..I think it should be some points in %..

Title: Re: excel again :)

Hi All!! :)
Now I reach the point in which I have W and L in case of showing  1,2,3,4,5,6, finals  for three times after 10 spins..I'm doing tests.

The point I would ask maybe is simple but I fix in mind the "CONTIG" function in excel but I think it does not work properly and I am not able to find something similar to solve the issue with "How many WW or LL can shown during a lot of spins..

I was thinking "Which is better to focus on? BET after 3x WL or 4x LL for example?  knowing the probability should be easier (I know is not important but I dream a few :twisted:)

Could you help me with this example? I'm basic in excel..and I'm spending some hours in this..  :-\ :-\

Glad you found your way through it!

Could have helped more but ran out of time.

I did not understand exactly everything you expressed earlier or through excel.  I think we use different modus operandi ...
I also am relative new to excel. With logic and patience everything is possible.

I still have to modify the file I sent to allow bets only when 3 finals left, like you wanted, I think.  What kind of stats would you want me to add, if any?

Anastasius,

click on the first nr in the column:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/10/source.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/UxcuL)

Double-click on the little square on the lower right corner of the cell.  It will select all the cells below in the column.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/10/source94a15.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/UxqZS)

You can now either: right click and clear content or clear the content by using the function in the header.

Yes, Excel offers tremendous possibilities.  Most systems can be built with it, actually all the ones in Rx.  Reference cells are great to change parameters, instead of modifying all formulas, may it be tracking length, triggers, progressions, goals, stoploss, hit, unhit, pairs, neighbours...
I still have a relative hard time with mixed bets, such as splits, corners and straight ups altogether (Kattila! I could not achieve what you asked), but Excel can achieve it if setup properly.
It can calculate 10000 spins in a second.
It  can  run macros to get stats, averages, extremes..
Love it.

By the way, I'm kindof addicted to it so if anyone needs something coded I'll be pleased!
It is of course one interface and one must have excel to start with, but it's standard now on  computers.

Would be interested in learning Qbasic or Rx or VisualBasics, but also visual ballistics!

yo i like your spreadsheets but im confused, for example i opened the split hits game and it ends -1500     . i then touch nothing except the parameters and change them from 12 to say 30 then it makes a new graph and ends -2500 i then change the parameters back to the original number 12 and touch no numbers.....  it then shows a totally different end game outcome -500 ..... is this a fault or am i doing something incorrectly  :-X

It is.the function of random nrs in the nr column.  It  will change nrs everytime you do something.  You can clear them and add yours.

Hello Bigbroben,

I found the hardest and most time consuming to code was the Straight Numbers so I coded Standard Modules for each numberset.

I have attached one of the modules for Straight Numbers showing how I Track and make Bet Selections based on Tracking the last 37 spins on a rolling basis.

The Bet Selection is simply betting all unhits after 20 spins.

This is just one way of doing it but I hope the code might give you some ideas and save you some time and effort.

Cheers

Nick

U start tracking
Then once  u see first  repeater. Flat bet it until any number triples .or it hit. Thats it no trigger.  Then start  new game..  :P

Straight-ups are rather easy to deal with.  It'S the mix of splits and corners that are harder.

As for striaght-ups, or any category of bet, here is how I apply the reference cell.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U1CCl)
Cell B3 is the one giving the parameter to consider ( here, it's the backtrack length).

Then all nrs or splits or corners are assigned a nr written on top of the sheet (here, row3).
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source8fa95.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U1Djc)

We'll check the formula for cell CJ4
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source692cb.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U1pFa)

Part1: IF($E4="",""
Column E is where nrs are written in this sheet. If there is no nr written in the E4 cell, (if(E4=""), then put nothing in this cell.
Dollar sign before E ($E4) will let you block the reference column if you happen to copy/slide the formula to the other nr columns.

Part2: IF($D4<$B$3,0
Column D is the spin nr.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source046f1.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U1uRF)

So, if not enough spins have gone by, less than the tracking length, I ask it to write zero, otherwise it will call #REF!
$ in front of D4 to keep the reference column, and $ in front of both B and 3 to keep the one cell as reference ( same column, same row).

Part3:
If (COUNTIF(OFFSET($E4,-($B$3-1),0,1,1):$E4,CJ$3)=0,1,0
Goal here is to see if the nr associated with the CJ$3 cell appeared in the tracking window.
Normally, it would be COUNTIF($E4:$E4,CJ$3, which would return how many times the nr in cell CJ3 appeared.  Here, if the result =0, write 1( we want to play the nrs that have not hit in the last 25 nrs).  The 0 in the end is the value to enter if all predecent conditions are false.
OFFSET is very useful when needing to have a varying tracking window.
Denomination is OFFSET(reference, row, column, height, width)
So, we want to know here, for example how many times the nr appeared in a 25 spins window, in cell CJ4.
To make it a 25 spin window, we make the reference as $E4, then we want to backtrack 24 cells up, which will give 24+1 cell to track.
So: OFFSET ($E4 = reference
OFFSET($E4, -($B$3-1)  minus B3 cuz we are going up, not down, and minus 1 cuz reference is 25 and we already have one with E4
OFFSET($E4,-($B$3-1),0,1,1): no change in the column reference, 1cell height, 1 cell width

With this setup, just to modify the value in cell B3 will change the range of the tracking.
With the proper use of $ signs, you can simply click on the cell, click on the little black square bottom right of the cell, hold-drag to all nr columns further right and all the new cells will have the formula copied onto them.  If double click on the square after dragging to the whole row, it will copy the formulas to the lower cells all the way down, provided there is a neighbouring column with inputs.

Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: Bigbroben on Mar 12, 04:35 PM 2019
But then, when playing and adding the nrs in ther sheet, you don't want to scroll all the way to the right, find where the little ''1'' is, look for which corresponding nr it belongs to, then scroll back and bet.  You want to have the numbers displayed handily for quick action.

How to go from 37 columns with 1s and 0s to a display like this one below?
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source9d0f0.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U3Vhp)

It requires 3 blocks of 37 columns:
1) the first was described earlier today
2) lookup block
3) display block

LOOKUP block:
LOOKUP function finds the value you indicate in a first column and return the value in the same row in a second reference column  (you can decide to reduce the lookup to a few cells, but for practical reasons I like to use the whole column).

Ex: for cell F4, we ask lookup to find the value of E4 in column A and return the corresponding value from the B column:
=LOOKUP(E4,B:B,C:C)
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source57bcf.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U3pNV)
N.B: the first column to look into must have its values in an ascending order, sonst it will return the wrong value.

So, the second ''LOOKUP'' block will be used as a reference for the third block.
The first row of the 37 will have a value of 1.  The following will be as such:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/sourcee939c.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U3uHt)

with a 38th column using the same formula for LOOKUP's way of reasoning.  If it looks for nr 4 and there are 2x nr4 in the first search vector, it will take the furthest corresponding value of them all, so the last 4.  The 38th column is to include nr36 in the search.  This second block is to build an ascending streak of nrs that the LOOKUP function will pick from.

(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source58005.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U3IUf)
So, if nr0 (cell CI40) in the first block is a 1, be 1u higher that the cell on the left (AW40), otherwise, same value as AW40.

Click and drag to the cells in the block, double click on the black square to copy them all the way down.

3)DISPLAY Block:

It all comes finally to this one.
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/source36b7c.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U3LX1)

LOOKUP will find the value of the nr in row 3, so this row is just a reference. ''1'' means: ''first nr to play is...''  so not the nr itself.
So, this part here:
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/sourced15c0.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U37Yx)

In this example here, there are 15 nrs played.  The 38th column in the second block returns a value of 16, so:
IF(L$3>=$CH39,""
You don't want the last nr played to repeat over and over in the display, or have a false bet.  So, if the reference nr (L3) is bigger or equal to 16, empty ('''')

(Ah? Why CH39 and not CH40 if we are on cell L40?  Because we want to see the nrs to play before the spin is made, right?
(link:://:.pichost.org/images/2019/03/12/sourceda819.png) (link:://:.pichost.org/image/U34sr)
Right.)

Notice the $ signs where they are:
LOOKUP(L$3,$AW39:$CG39,$AW$3:$CG$3
The nr to look for is the one in L3 (1).  For row 40, you find it in the row 39.  The $ is before AW and CG since this is the columns to look for for all the other columns in the third block.
The returned value is always in the Row3, where the played nrs are associated, hence the $ before the 3.

Click drag copy to all other cells in the 3rd block and you should be good.

Put the 3rd block near where you write the nrs for ease of reading.

Broben. Forget coding the single number thing. Bet repeats from only on spin 19 to spin 28 now . Start tracking again  if no hit on spin 28 and also reset tracking if a triple hit before spin  19. I think i can do something with the info and maybe a progression lol

Hi All,

I'm here again with a question and trying to develop an excel file to study my statistics.

Just to start today I need a button in excel that in a list of spins, let's say 10 spins, leave only 4 to 10.
and so on, the button should put off in a click all the 1º,2º,3º, 11,12,13 21º,22º,23º spins. And leave a list without blanks only with 4º5º6º7º8º9º10º,14º15º16º...and so on.

I found this but it erase only the first three numbers: WHyyy!?

Sub deleteMultipleRows()

     Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("1:3").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("11:13").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("21:23").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("31:33").Delete
End Sub

After that button I could create another button to put off the 8 9 10º... and remain with 2 lists of spins reorganized..and there put these on my system that I will tell you.

Thanks a lot.

I found this; I will try to modify it in order to cut first 3 numbers and 11,12,13º...21,22,23º and so on.

Sub Delete_Alternate_Rows_Excel()
    Dim SourceRange As Range

    Set SourceRange = Application.Selection
    Set SourceRange = Application.InputBox("Range:", "Select the range", SourceRange.Address, Type:=8)

    If SourceRange.Rows.Count >= 3 Then
        Dim FirstCell As Range
        Dim RowIndex As Integer

        Application.ScreenUpdating = False

        For RowIndex = SourceRange.Rows.Count To 1 Step -2
            Set FirstCell = SourceRange.Cells(RowIndex, 1)
            FirstCell.EntireRow.Delete
        Next

        Application.ScreenUpdating = True

    End If
End Sub

Notice the code is stepping downward from the highest numbered rows to the lowest.

In your example, it looked like you were deleting the lower rows first, which could adversely affect the rest of the deletions.

Otherwise, yah, that code can be modified to do exactly what you want.

Still is right:
the code has to be reversed

Sub deleteMultipleRows()

    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("31:33").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("21:23").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("11:13").Delete
    Worksheets("Delete row").Rows("1:3").Delete

End Sub

but: deletes the hole rows, not only cells

Hi all Dear Gamblers!
I need some help to create a excel sheet that show me some statistics for a new system/strategy I've invented.
The systems actually is very easy, it works on frequency in finals.

I explain for you the idea:

It is played consecutively and this is the issue I find in excel.

I wait 3 spins (or more if a final is repeated) where finals are different and wait a virtually win within 5 spins.( if no win I suppose the session vanish without betting)
Let's say for example we have 0,11,14,22,34 I waited 3 spins + 2 where I reached the virtually win with number 34.

so in terms of finals it is 0/1/4/2/4. Now that I discover the first win with the last "4" final, I start finally to bet all numbers with final 0,1,4 FOR maximum 3 times. I was checking with automatic airball spins..and it show more wins than losses increasing accuracy betting after a win session.  ::)

I have already a file that search it but I am not able to do it consecutively, I mean, starting after the virtual win counting 3 different finals..
Can someone excel master do this ?

Thanks You very much.

Hi,
Could anyone help me out here?
I have two number sets in columns A and B, and at the bottom row where I have 10 and 3, I need a formula for column C that searches for the last occurrence of B in column B and returns the value of A.

A     B    C
11   3
2     1
7     2
10   3     here I'd like to see what was the last value of A when number 3 appeared in column B, in this example it should be 11

thanks

If you arrange your columns from Left to Right per attached sheet you can use the VLOOKUP function as shown in the Yellow Cell.

Thanks for this VLOOKUP hint, did know it existed but never used it.

From what I can see it will find the first corresponding result in the column and will hold further down, right?  How to do to find the last occurence?   Relative OFFSET?

Thanks

Hi Nick,
Thanks for your reply. My problem is what Bigbroben is asking, I need to find the last occurrence in a long series with lots of repeats. VLOOKUP only searches for the first.
Sorry my explanation wasn't clear.

I found the below formula on a forum. The row and column values would need to be adjusted for my sheet, but I couldn't get it work.

=INDEX(B$1:B$9,MATCH(MAX(IF($A$1:A1=A2,ROW($A$1:A1),0)),ROW($A$1:A1),0))

I'm not even sure what it would do, as I've never used some of these formulas.

Hi Ati and  Bigbroben,

The Index Match function is one way to get the last occurence but I find it complicated.

A more simple solution is just to use the Lookup function as shown in the attached sheet.  This will give you the last occurence.

Hi Let Me Win, yes I am working on both VDW and other projects as they present themselves,  I am always learning new ideas and love to test them out.  If you got something new, just let me know.

Simply enter the straight-up nrs in the F column.

Ben can you help me out with this Excel question? I enter the spin results in the one column. then those numbers produce the numbers that show up in the numbers to bet column.

What I want to accomplish is to take the 3 columns that have the Numbers to Bet and put them all into one column. Then I want to sort it numerically from smallest to largest number. I also want it to delete any duplicate numbers. So if the #1 shows up three times I only need to see it once. (See attachment)

Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks for your help Ben!

Hi Roller,

I've setup a new sheet where you can have all the nrs from the three column put in a increasing order.  It is not in one column but at least in one block.

This is the way I do it normally.  There are other parameters that can be added, such as max played mrs, W/L, reset conditions, progs....

Have a look.

Does anyone know if this example below is possible to do in Excel?

I want to have a numbers that were spun column, and with each number that is spun it will be associated with 4 other numbers. Those 4 numbers will always be the same numbers.

Then i want Excel to search those 4 numbers and see if they correspond with any of the numbers that have already been spun as seen in the example below when numbers 3 and 26 are spun.

nrs       numbers to bet
1           1-10-22-34
2           2-16-25-29
3           3-18-19-26
4           4-6-30-31
5           3-5-27-28
6           0-6-11-32
26         3-18-19-26

So when there is a match with numbers spun like 3 and 26 because they both have the same 4 numbers Excel would tell you to bet numbers 3-18-19-26.

I am just curious if that is possible to do or not. Thanks for your help everyone.

For the series of live results 8,34,29,7,32,27,31,34,24,5

Play trigger number are showing as 12number to be played however it shows only 8 number 3,6,13,16,23,26,33,36

Hi Holy Roller,

See if this attached sheet does what you want.

Simply insert your data sets into Column G.

Insert the numbers spun into Column A or use the F9 for RNG numbers.

Column E will show a repeat with the number "2" else no repeat is "1"

Hi Bigbroben

There is some error in excel in showing  number to be played

For the series of live results 8,34,29,7,32,27,31,34,24,5

Play trigger number are showing as 12number to be played however it shows only 8 number 3,6,13,16,23,26,33,36

Next spin was 30 and it showed result was a WIN.

Pls can you check..

Never mind have fixed it myself

Hi All!

can someone help me in column P to avoid that number 1's shown without numbers spun ?

I've used in P:     =IF(OR(O3=$B$3;O3=$C$3;O3=$D$3;O3=$E$3;O3=$F$3;O3=$G$3;O3=$H$3;O3=$I$3;O3=$J$3;O3=$K$3);1;"  ")

And for column  X Y,Z,AA shown only the maximum distance between sorting lists (0's) .Just for example 7-->3  without  6 5 4 3 2 1 as shown in picture..

This is an idea I had for a system I want to test..

Thanks

Gitano :smile:

This is the file,
basically my idea was to see how many times a certain distance in terms of spins ( for example 7 ) happen that the ball land in less spins again..
I don't know why but It seems to be a lot of time.. With this file I would check this behavior in the airball considered.

You simply have to add one more condition to the formula. If the "numbers" cell is not empty, do the calculations, otherwise return a blank value.

=IF(O26<>"",IF(OR(O26=$B$3,O26=$C$3,O26=$D$3,O26=$E$3,O26=$F$3,O26=$G$3,O26=$H$3,O26=$I$3,O26=$J$3,O26=$K$3),1," "),"")

By the way, there is a simple way to check if a cell value equals any other in a range of cells. No need to type in each condition one by one.

It looks like this:

=IF(O26<>"",IF(COUNTIF($B$3:$K$3,O26),1,""),"")

The other question I don't understand. Sorry.
There also seem to be an error in columns U and V. The ISBLANK formula is missing the reference.

Thank You ATI!
I adjust the numbers #1's as in picture with your suggestion, but arise the problem in S  COLUMN  :( :( Now it show only zeros ..instead of count the distances ...it happen only in column S  :sad2: :sad2:

That's because in the formula you added a space for blank values (" ") and I didn't. You need to delete the space in your formulas or add a space to my formulas. Then it should be okay.

All right! it was a simple space! good.
Now I need to think to the other columns ..

Big Bro Ben
Help.
Do I need find, lookup. Tried somethings,got no where.
Thanks.

Post by: ati on Jul 24, 05:35 PM 2020
Sorry, I know you didn't ask me, but you could use a simple IF and OR argument. Just copy this to the B1 cell
=IF(OR(A1=2,A1=4,A1=6,A1=8,A1=10,A1=11,A1=13,A1=15,A1=17,A1=20,A1=22,A1=24,A1=26,A1=28,A1=29,A1=31,A1=33,A1=35),"B",IF(A1=0,0,"R"))

This is not an elegant way to do it, but it's simple and works. You could also use the vlookup function, but for that you need to create two columns somewhere on your sheet, one containing the numbers 0 to 36, and the the other the colours.

Notto,

Try this. Enter values in Column A. Leave the lookup sheet the way it is.

Up to 250 spins.

Post by: Bigbroben on Jul 24, 10:01 PM 2020
Notto,

Azim's sheet is good.

If you want it all on the same sheet, just cut the lookup reference and paste it where you want.  I like having all references on the same sheet then hiding the columns, but that's me.

Bref, you got the basic formulas with Azim's.

All who replied, thanks.
If, we could see if, or when it goes 12 spins.
+100 units on that sequence, as Foxy said, no pressure as the mat has shown where too bet.

Notto,

Here you go. Enter the number in the same column "A"

Post by: nottophammer on Jul 25, 10:19 AM 2020
I’ve moved the sequence of 12 colours, okay, this is option 2 on the mat. Out of 250 spins, 122 wins.
Max spin to win, 8spins.
Title: Re: excel again :)
Post by: nottophammer on Jul 25, 10:26 AM 2020
Azim thank you.
Those spins are from 20'000 live . So, I have a lot to go through.

Using mat options, just like GUT, I watch and decide when to bet.

Post by: nottophammer on Jul 25, 11:21 AM 2020
213 spins; 101 wins. Max spin to win; is again 8 spins.
I, said to member leoncino74, watch and wait; said wait for 3 or 4 spins. Here, with the max of 8, then win within 4 spins. If, and I’ve not seen 12 spins, it would cost 8 spins.
Look to what’s trending.

Azim, what the PM about.
Pic 1; the sequence wins 1st spin. So we just re-bet the sequence.
Pic 2; the sequence moves down and it's a win. Just re-bet the sequence.
Pic 3, the sequence moves down and wins.

Soon as a win, re-start the sequence.
If you look to cells D22, how many wins for the 22 spins?

Hello

Good Morning All,

somebody can help me with this in excel ?

For my new idea I'm checking some spins, it is a bet selection in the roulette table..

I have a list of spins to trasform for example

1
15
23
8 <-
6 <-
8 <-
22
11
34
12
.
.
.

----> I would transform it automatically after (copy)/paste , checking every 3 spins without the repetition of a number, in this case "8" and all the list
come up.

so the new list is  :

1
15
23
8 <-
6 <-
22 <-
11
34
12
.
.
.
It is possible with a formula?
Thanks

I could be wrong, not possible with formula but macro yes. Or we could leave a blank cell between numbers.

1
15
23
8 <-
6 <-

22
11
34
12
Like this.

In such cases I always write a simple formula (or more if needed), apply the right filters and delete the unwanted rows.

For example, if you have a list of spins in column A, type the following into the B3 cell: =IF(OR(A3=A1,A3=A2,A2=A1),1,))

If you there is a repeat, it will show "1", otherwise FALSE. Filter down to 1's in column B and delete all rows.

Could someone kindly help me with Excel coding.

I am trying to look for a repeat in previous spins.
So on spin 2, I check spin 1
On spin 3, I check spin 1,2
On spin 4, I check spins 1,2,3 etc
Once a cycle closes, I want to start over with the next cycle.
Is there a simple formula I could use?

I have attached an excel sheet to explain what I am trying to do.

I added a count column. The formula is like this =COUNTIF($B$4:B5,B5)

When you start over with a new cycle, just change the static cell from $B$4 to the starting cell.

Pimped.  Used the OFFSET function to have the reference valid down the spins, instead of restarting all the time.

Further right: Spin gaps between hits and stats.

@ PowPow

Here is a simple setup that shows how I use simple Excel formulas.

These are good to know and had to find and learn about them by myself.  They're in column A
type in a cell: =countif (for example) a prompt explains its function and offers help.

Most of them are self-explained.
Some others aren't.
For example:
Use $ in a formula before the Row or Column letter/nr so the reference stays the same when copying formula from one cell to another.
"" (Alt+34, alt+34): means an empty cell.  =IF (A2=""; 0; 1), for example.  It prevents also all the #VALUE! and !REF! issues

Have a look, learn... and write back when other questions arise.

If ppl do know other handy formulas, please share!

Oh yeah, just also basics:
roll the mouse on the lower right corner of a cell.  It'll show a + sign.  Click, hold and drag: it'll copy the formula to wherever you drag, from startpoint to end.  Or double-click: it'll copy the formula down the whole column until last filled cell from previous column.
It will also continued a sequence: select A1 A2 and A3 that have 1,2,3 as values.  Click hold drag: it'll do 4,5,6,7,...

Could someone kindly help me with Excel.
I would like to track 4 streets, lets say streets 1, 2, 3, 4.

I want to play the 3 streets that came up last.
I imagine that it would be by finding the furthest street back out of streets 1,2,3,4, and playing the opposite. But I am not sure how to do that.

Any help would be appreciated.
