Currently Betfair/Betvoyager is the only casino with a no zero roulette table. Does anybody have any factual insight into whether no zero will become more prevalent in the future? If Betvoyager decides to shut down its no zero roulette is it logical to assume we won't see it again since there's no house advantage?

Bet Voyager in particular, makes its money now from the 10% exit fee after each time U use the game
(within 24hour period max playtime in one session.)
Previously it was only when U wanted to make a withdrawal.
So, i guess its here to stay for a while yet.

He has a point!  We should have a strategy that works on the European wheel as a backup.

I think they will keep the NOZ.  They have a smaller edge as it is 10% of all the money taking into the game. No HE means all lost money will be won of an other player, the casino break even, and have just the commission of 10%.

Normally a zero wheel get a hold of 1/3 of the money taking into the game, and used many times before it is lost, most of the time.

If the NOZ attract much more players, the casino will gain better without the zero, if they has about 4 times more play. On line it is not very expency to have a lot of more players at a table.

If people in large understand what is the difference of NOZERO, ZERO and DOUBLE ZERO, it would be more casinos using NOZERO, as very few would use a wheel with zero.

Remember BV has all games in an equal odds version, you can play there at a zero wheel and even an American Wheel with equal odds.

We can think of a NOZ paying not equal odds, so it is not the ZERO it is the odds which is equal making the tables better for the player.
It is near impossible to grind at unfair odds, outside bets on unfair odds does not work for the player. Some casinos have lower HE for outside bets.

Chrisbis,

Would you please explain how that whole scheme works?

It sounds as if they take 10% of "something" when you leave.

Would someone like to explain it in more detail?

  Thanks.

I think Ralph is prob more aware of the % take at BV than myself, tho here are some pointers towards your question AD.....

I'm no Ralph, but I play there daily.

Say you win 100 Euro; They take 10 and put 90 in your account.  That's fair.

But suppose you lose 100.  You must win around 112 Euro to get your lost 100 back!

112 x 10% =11.20  So you win 112 - 11.20 for a net win of 100.80.

That's it.

Try to stop the game at break even or plus. You allways pay commission, the losing money get taxed from the winner, which can the same player. The casino break even, and get 10%  from the winner, as all money put in is both lost and won, sometimes from different players, but can be the same.

You never pay for the turnover, as you do with zero wheel, take in 100 Euro wager it 30x and it is probably lost due to the unfair odds.
You can grind 30x your money on NOZ and still have a very good chance to be a head or a bit down.
