1, 2, 5, 11, 26, 61, 142, 331 this 4 doublestreets progression i got from loothog, but it's not correct.

LONG VERSION
1) Bet: $ 1 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $4
2) Bet: $ 3 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $16
3) Bet: $ 9 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $52
4) Bet: $ 27 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $160
5) Bet: $ 81 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $484
6) Bet: $ 243 on 4 spots. Profit on a Win: $ 2 Bankroll Needed: $1456

so this is the correct progression?.....can't be right? i thought it would be different from 2 dozen progression, something is not right here. Anyone got a working progression for 4 doublestreets?

This is a 7 step progression (should be correct according to my own calculations)

1, 3, 8, 26, 77, 231, 693

I don't get it. Betting 1 unit on 4 double street is the exact same thing as betting 2 units on two dozens.
I played something similar not so long ago. I was waiting for 3 hits from the same dozen or column, and then bet the other two. 4 repeats don't happen very often, but sometimes it can go up to 7-8. That's why I would never use a progression you suggested. I always add just 1 unit to each dozen or column, and after two wins, I take 1 unit. If I win the first and lose the second, at the next level I only need to win one to cover the loss.
For example I'm at level 4, I bet 4-4 units on two dozens, I win the first I lose the second, I'm down 4 units overall at that level, so I move to level 5 where if I win the first, that covers the -4 plus wins 1 unit.
The hit rate can be as high as 80%, or more if you have a lucky day.

yes, your idea is better, i was making a wrong judgement about this, i tried and you're right 7-8 repeats is not so uncommon,

i should have known better- im sorry

Perhaps on a double dozen or 4 DS play you could redefine your target...rather than risking a fortune to win $2 with a single win...why not go with a slower building progression and try to get into profit with two wins out of three at any point in the attack?

I don't play 24 numbers but it would seem like something could be devised that would certainly keep you in the attack longer and on a 24 number play a second win really shouldn't be that far behind the first.  (I know there are always exceptions to that)
