Hi All,

I have logged into this site from two diffrent computers at diffrent locations and each time I logged in I had pop-up adverts.

My question is this has anyone else noticed pop-up adverts when first logging into this site and even when you cancle them more adverts pop-up later.

Like I said this has happend to me twice now from diffrent computers/locations.

So the questions is it just me?

It has NOT happened to me.

PM Victor VLS and he will take them off Ur account when requested.

They are supposed to be just for new members and guests.

Its to generate much needed revenue of New Forum Server costs.

It would be good for ALL members reading this to consider ...
(I only ask for U to consider the possibility),
sending Victor a small donation for using this superb Roulette Forum.

I'm thinking in the order of $5/each. (per viewing/caring/responsible member.)
(then the need for pop-ups would be a lot less!)

Victor made a thread, warning us about the pop-up ads and told us not to be alarmed. He never mentioned their purpose. For more details you'll have to contact Victor.

If your logged in you wont get them

I set my account so that whenever I come to this site it logs me in automatically, thus I never see an advert

All non members (Guests) see them

Yes, that's right, they don't show for members. Fellow guests are contributing indirectly some cents/day by viewing them.

The reason for it is simple: forum supporters got tired; now *IF* the tipping tool has its share of success then I can remove the ads and sponsor the forum myself in full, otherwise, some ads won't hurt.

Chris' idea is good,  Ideally, it should be community support (but then people always slam sites who request donations!); so I guess ads and opt-in services should be the way for the time being.

Lets really help Victor with the forum man.

He's moved the darn thing to a new hoster................that has costs.

He's had to set up a sort of revenue steam.................because of costs.

So, please please, guys, think about it seriously just for one minute of Ur shortening life.....

What is $5 going to mean to U..........................

And what is $5 going to mean to the Forum.

Its not a membership fee.

Its not a subscription.

Its not even a requirement of being here.

But here we all are, regular as clockwork.

So, since the main contributors have now take leave..........
(and we thank them now for all they have done in the past)

Its up to each and everyone of Us regular fellows, to really make this place work, and work well.

I'm not one of the staff here.

But I support in every way I can.

i bring n new members- by recommend.

I bankrolled us when we went down over Christmas, along with some other key members.

What I would really like to see here now, is a little 'whip' round, like U get at confessional church on a Sunday.

Hell (no pun intended) I'll take confession for U guys if it helps U unload just a tiny fraction of a Ur take home pay/embursment/pension/wages call it what U want, over to Victor in Ven.

I'm sure he can give undertakings that the money will go straight into the payment and continuing support framework of this wonderful place.

Although I'm still very much a newbie here in Roulette land, i understand the real-time costs of running such a venture.

So, can we just send him a few dollars please?

To coin a phrase.............I'm not asking for a Fist Full Of Dollars..........just a couple.

If $1 is all U can send, cause U need every last dime to spend at the casino, then that in my book is fair enough.

But those players who regularly come in here and tell us how they have made +1 here, and +6 there, should really take a hard look at themselves, and ask.....................
