Can anyone point me to a good 2 Dozs or 2 Cols progression

I've seen GLCs great prog on Divide & Conquer...Any others around here?!

Hello Vundarosa,

If you want a grind, try Hermes's Leveller ( 1,2,4,4,4,4.....). If you want more challenge I suggest Lanky's 6 Point Divisor. I have played both and each have their strong point. It's actually up to each individual taste, depending on their tolerance of pain. I suggest you try each one out and choose whichever you are comfortable with.

How does it work?

It really confuses me? ???

Bet selection = 2 dozens
Unit = the nr of units placed on a single dozen
Units bet = total nr of units bet(units x 2 = 2 dozens)

Play the bet and enter a W for a win or a L for a loss where it says to.
Check the next row down for the nr of units to place and play the next bet

That software is very useful and is based on Lanky's "6 Point Divisor Method" I mentioned above.

Vunderosa,  I want to give you what I think is the safest 2 dozen bet method there is.  Nothing can match this if you're after safety of your bank but with a reasonable chance to win.


This is the labby method.  I know,  ::) .  But here me out.  I have presented this idea on other occasions, but I feel that I haven't explained it thoroughly in the past.


This method of play will give you total control over the size of your betting units and you can set a reasonable stop loss for the occasional series from hell that is a guaranteed event for all systems.


This is based on using multiple labbys.  My preference is 10 but you can use as many as you wish.  The more you use, the closer to a flatbet you get.


I'm not going into the mechanics of how to use a labby since we should all know how.  If a newbie read this and doesn't know how to play a labby, just search the forum for the word and you'll find numerous locations where it has been explained.


Let's say that we don't want to bet more than 5 units on both dozens and we set a stop loss at 50 units.  We will try to win 1 unit on each labby.  That means that we will start each labby with a 1.  We will bet 1 unit on both dozens and if we lose, we will write the number of units lost to the right of the original 1.  Our line will look like this: 1 1 1.


We are using 10 labbys and they each start with a 1.  We play each labby in sequence meaning that we will bet 1 1 on each dozen for each of the labbys.  On those that we won on, we don't write anything down, we just use the 1 unit won to off-set any losses we may have gotten.


As we lose, our line will eventually look like this 1 1 1 2 2 3 3 4 4 5 5 (or something similar to it).  Since 5 units on each dozen is the largest size bet we can make (we can make this smaller or larger, it's our choice) we can't continue playing this labby because our next bet is 6 6 which we can't do.  We have 31 units in this line, so we dissolve this line and distribute the units between 10 labbys.  That means we have to add 3 units to the other 9 labbys and leave 4 units in this one.


There is no exact formula here.  You can increase the size of bets in the labbys by 1 unit on 3 bets.  You can skip enlarging a labby if it's bets are already getting pretty large.  You can even add more labbys if you need to to keep the bets smaller.


There will be a time when you will have such a poor win/lose ration that you will reach your stop loss.  If you don't use a stop loss, you can continue indefinitely splitting bets and creating more labbys to distribute units to.  Theoretically, you can do this infinitely and never take a loss, but you may never get a win either.


Remember the golden rule.  You either need to win more times on a flatbet than you lose or if you win fewer hands then you lose, they must be at a higher unit amount than you lost on or you will never come out ahead.

I'm almost positive that if Fripper wanted to, he could use this method instead of zero's to win at a 35 to 66 win to loss ratio.  Remember, with his labby method, you have to bet some really large bets and have a 1500 unit bank to feel confident that you will keep winning.  And, that's not a 100% guarantee.  Nothing is.  I say this to emphasize that we should set a stop loss even if it's 1500 units and expect to reach it every now and then.


I don't believe there's a better way to bet on 2 dozens than this.  Actually, I don't believe there's a better way to play any location on the board than using this idea of multiple labbys with redistribution of losses.


Lanky's divisor method can be used in pretty much the same way.  It does the same thing in a different way.  His safety brake is just like redistributing large bets over more labbys to keep bets smaller.  I think this labby method is easier for folks to understand and implement.

a bit clarification is needed. you redistribute 31 units in 10 labbys---meaning each labby of 9 labbys will be consisting as 1 111 and 10th one will be 11111. so at the end when all ten labbys will be done, we will be winning 10 units. if any of 10 labby reach the maximum bet of 5 units on each dozen, there will be further redistribution. please clarify me.
