Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

Use any bet selection method you like.

Progression:  1-2-3-5-7-9 (7) (5) (3) (1)

Rules:

1.  Move 1 step to the right after a win.
2.  Move 1 step to the left after a loss.
3.  Move 2 steps to the right if you win after 1 loss.*
4.  End any time you win 4 bets in a row.
5.  End if you win 5 out of 7 bets.
6.  End when +15 or more.
7.  When you reach bet level 9 move back to the left on a win.  The 1st loss ends the game after winning the 9 unit bet.  If no loss the "win 4 in a row" rule doesn't count on your way back.
8.  End when you lose 2 bets in a row.
9.  End when you lose -30 units.

* To clarify rule #3.  If you have won the 5 unit bet and then lost the 7 unit bet you drop back to the 5 unit bet.  If you win the 5 unit bet jump to the 9 unit bet.  This doesn't apply when working back down the bet line.
In other words, if you have won 5 then 7 then 9 your next bet is 7 if you win then 5 etc...

Even though this is a positive progression, you can still find yourself pretty deep in the hole in a bad series.  This just can't be helped.  Even with a flatbet.

When I say end, I mean to just start a new attack.  Of course when you have either won enough or reached your stop loss, stop for the day.

Remember, the enemy of positive progressions is a lot of choppy losses with few winning streaks.

In my mind, the only positive about a positive progression is that you can stop at any time.  With a negative progression, you find yourself deep in the hole at times and have to decide to either bail and take the loss or keep betting larger amounts hoping to finally win to recover.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Hi GLC, have you done enough testing on this? I'm looking for a positive progression for even chances at the moment because of my 3 musketeer system but it is not working for me at the moment.

What happens when you lose 5 times in a row?

The rule is if you lose 2 times in a row, we end that attack.  You're free to either start over at 1 or come back tomorrow or just later for a new session.

If you lose 2 times in a row and decide to start a new attack at 1 unit you will stay at 1 unit for the next 3 losses because we don't move up the progression except on wins.

The strength of a positive progression is that you don't increase your bet amount except on wins.

The weakness is if you don't get wins streaks to offset the numerous losses.  We will always have more losses than wins, so we need some way to win more wins than we lose on losses.

Have I done enough testing?  I presume you mean have I done enough testing to guarantee something.  I can't guarantee anything other than this:  If your bet selection isn't good enough for you to win flat betting, no progression, whether positive or negative will create a winning system.

Some progressions, like this one, can give you a very good chance to win often, but not always.

Positive progressions give you more control over how much you lose when having a bad day.  Short negative progressions can do the same thing.  Long negative progressions mean that every now and then you are going to give back a big chunk and you don't know when or how often that will be.

Positive progressions lose by having a lot of base bet losses and not enough streaks to off-set all the small losses.  A positive progression with no end to the progression can net a huge win on a freaky win streak that can put you up forever or at least for a long time.  It's akin to hitting the big jackpot on a slot machine.  It rarely happens, but if it does happen while you're playing it ... :xd:

The following link takes you to another positive progression that can be adapted to even chance bets:
