Totally unnecessary adolescent crudities that demean this forum and all we are trying to achieve here.

Post should be removed quickly BEFORE it becomes indexed and remains in perpetuity on the Internet, and puts off aspiring members.

[And the relevant foul language word filters are either non-existent or not working.]

Well, I understand why it is there, but I'm really pssied off that I can't use from time to time rude word or funny phrase like siht hits the fan and such. When I first heard this phrase, as English is no my natural language, I laughed a lot, and it became my favourite  ;)

That's weird, why is thing filtered and fuck not?

Little test:

idiot btich mroon fcuker mohterf***** carp psis
idiot female dog moron f****r m**********r stuff f**k

really interesting rules mroon changed to dog, and fcuker to mroon, it is not even transitive. After two edits fcuker changes to dog, that's what I call a trasfromation :).

What about this, would it work?

<removed>

No offense meant with last three phrases...

If I run into something like a filter, censorship, boundary, computer with poor security, I always try to circumvent it. Remove your post with copy of my post before THAT gets indexed, I already removed mine original. I did it to demonstrate how useless any filters are. Same applies for P2P pirates vs. goverment, we fight them, and the more they try to get us, the better we are. Censorship should not exist, it's the first step into totality. All words have same right to be used, they are part of the language.

Look at security - they are paranoid now, everyone is suspect, even if innocent he has to be humiliated, like controls on an airport. Same it is with censorship, when filters become too strict, freedom of people is hampered...

Hello Mr.ore, your point is valid, but without no censorship the forum would degrade too much.

This also protects from the spamming porno bots

The fact is that if a poster unintentionally slips a word, the forum's text parser works it out but if he/she goes technical to circumvent the parser, then it shows clear intent to be disruptive. If there's a person abusing the system repeatedly, then he/she has to go.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against slangs, but i'm sure there are other euphemistic expressions which can work as a fine substitute to get the idea across in this forum.

In the end we just try to be gentlemen here.

Regards.

Good reply Victor.
There are so many other words that they could use.

Here are some links that may be of some use.
When looking for alternative words.

That's your opinion.

We have to be right 100% of the time with security at an airport. They don't have to be right just once to bring a plane down, for example. I'm pretty sure most of us prefer to undergo a few extra checks before boarding as opposed to be blown to bits at 33,000 feet.

Its Set In Stone =)

Hmmm, I guess it is a fine line.
There use to be a thing called freedom of speech.
Where you could say anything.

I guess what Victor is trying to do.
Is keep the forum civil.
Fun, light. And free from offensive words.
Or outright slanging.

Who needs that kind of dog poo anyway.
If you cant say anything nice.
Then why say anything at all?

Well, I didn't mean that literally.
I know we all have our own opinions on things.
And many of the members voice their opinions a great deal.
That is why this forum is so vibrant.

Someone or I should say members of the forum.
Have something to say. And they write it down in a topic or in a reply.
This keeps the forum going with reviews, opinions. And the occasional discord.

One of the reasons why this forum is becoming so popular.
Is the quality of posts from members.
Plus many of the members posts seem to keep a civil tongue when writing their views.

It great that we have a community that at least on the surface
seem to respect each others point of view.

Not so much infighting as there was over at VLS.

Keep it happy.
And light.

If you got a beef.
Then I suggest stick it in the oven and cook for 2 hrs.

LOL...

No seriously.
Contact the member concerned.
Voice your concerns with the member.
If your not satisfied.
Then contact Victor.
