Does anyone here have a blog?

I see a lot of blogs with ads on them nowadays. How much money can you actually make from advertising on a blog?

I know it depends on how many visitors you have. But if you consider the case of a reasonably well established blog with a small but loyal following, what kind of amount if reasonable?

Thanks for anyone that can help me out!

VLS

Well, there are accounts of the mythical 6-figure-income blogger, but given the amount of blogs out there the "real success" percentage is itsy-bitsy at most.

Actually, you may have a better chance with a blog than a forum. See how much sponsorship we have LoL (Hint: nothing :o)

Why don't you add some sponsorship victor? You work so hard maintaining this forum, you might as well make some money from it.

Yeah, I'm sure some bloggers can make 5,6 figure sums (I'm sure that perez hilton guy must make loads from his blog). I'm not even dreaming of that. I'd be happy with anything. Just for fun really.

See, the sponsorship option for gambling-related sites translates to partnership with casinos whose only ambition is to depart fellow members from their money, we at this forum are on the other side of the fence... would feel kind of betraying the community!

Besides, who wants to come to the forum to read and try "a system that works, sponsored by 888-casino.com" :D even I can say "SCAM!" LoL

We'll soon try doing endogenous sponsorships, better.

Cheers and thanks for the suggestion!

Wish you luck with the blog. Feel free to put it in your signature.

@ Victor

Lol, that's very true. It's like those sites owned by casinos that teach you how to 'win' at roulette. "We have a technique that's going to make us bankrupt and we want YOU to know about it!"

@ Tom

Out of curiosity, how much do you make from your website and what kind of traffic do you have? This what I get for your website on :.websiteoutlook.com

Title     Thomas R. Grant .com
Description    Online with Thomas R. Grant
Daily Pageview    113
Daily Ads Revenue    $1.75

Is this accurate?

I have no idea.
And I don't really care.
It is just my website.
I store most all my vids there.
FTP them.

What I mean is, do you actually have ads on your website? It says that you earn money through ads, but if you don't have any ads then obviously it is not correct

Define adds?
I have links to products that I am promoting on my casino page.
They may be banners, or what not.
All are from Clickbank.

I earn money from adds?
Do I?
Wish I could.
I sometimes put adds on my video pages.
Does that count?
Have not made much from Adsense.
Not even enough to get a check.

However, I have made money with clickbank.
