Double dozens with modified oscars grind

Hi everyone. Have been reading the forum for quite sometime and finally decided to register. I have had some success with a modified grind for double dozens and was wondering if someone could test it.
Here it is: place 1 unit on dozen 2 and 3. If win +1 unit. If lose stay at one unit until a win then go up to 2 units. Repeat next at 3 then 4 ect. Until you are in profit. Always drop down to one unit or just don't bet until a win.
So far it always comes back. I tried it before by doubling and it got too expensive but this slow progression keeps it safe.
