Question about slingshots

All these sligshot roulettes are just visual representations of rng or actual wheels that spin automatically?I guess they suppose to be the second one but when i see them i am not really convinced that they aren't some pretty nice graphics that fool your eye.

I lose at a faster rate on slingshots than on live wheels     They spin faster...
