Hello

Will you see big difference in some patterns like sleepers, repeaters and similar in 50000 and 1M spins sample?  I know its a very general question. For example 1 dozen is known to sleep for 32 spins in 1M spins. Is it likely to happen in 50000 spins?  Is there any formula when you compare 2 samples of spins?

yes.....It is less likely.

From my experience of data gathering/checking etc, it could happen within the 1st 1000 or even 1st 100 spins, but usually the first lot of spins you get out are all over the place before it actually starts performing like random, I am talking RNG of course.
There's only one way forward, follow random, don't fight with it!

Ignore a thread/topic that mentions 'stop loss', 'virtual loss' and also when a list is provided of a progression, mechanical does NOT work!

You would expect to see more "rare" events in a larger sample, but of course it could happen the first time you ever play roulette, it's just less likely. That's why systems often do quite well at first; they're based on particular patterns showing or not showing, but the more spins you play the more likely the run from hell will occur. This is what the hit n run advocates don't understand - they think if they restrict play to 20 or 30 spins per session they will somehow avoid the losses, but they fail to understand that a lot of short sessions add up to one long one.

There are no short sessions.  There is one long session interrupted by life and other misery.

Dang!  I've got to copyright that!

Wow, that's the best definition of a gambling addict.  Actually, once you realize that life, in general, is the greatest game of all, then the real misery (at the casino) can be minimized.

Interesting, a lot of gambling-book authors speak of "one long session" at the tables.

I say, ol' bean, that was rather rough don't you think?

Whether you will believe it or not, misery can and does happen while you're making plans.

Hello

I just play a system now that holds remarkably steady in around 12k spins. Nothing really fancy. It involves flat betting on repeaters but with stop loss level that nobody would think that could work. All sessions are in profit and some produce 1u per spin profit. I was tempted to test it for 50k spins but i dont see the need now. There is no progression involved. The drawback is that you need some tracking and time to play it.
And my question about spins was not specific enough. I know some things about probability of the outcome in 2 different number of events. Thanks anyway for your replies.

Not all surprises are bad ones; as not all plans are good.

Everything evens out, regardless.  That's what you have to figure out, and then avail yourself of.

Not always.......

You have to take into account that also the "evening out" evens out.  Ie, the "evening out" isn't so straightforward as +1-1+1-1... , it works in a number of different ways to different degrees.
