Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

Hi All,

I just registred here and I hope I will have a good time :-)
Now I have one question, I found out that I have a huge thrill in playing casino games. And now I heard that you can also play these games online, So I started looking and saw loads of bonuses free money HUH? Can someone advise me I do not understand? Can I get free money online without paying and then cash this also out? Also I was curious if this is really the case in which casino can I start at the best then?

Hope someone can give me good advise here...

Thanks MRTN

Kind of impatient, eh?

To save you a lot of grief and the rest of us a lot of typing, just say "NO" to taking any of the bonuses offered.

Practice with an online casino that you like and when you're confident in the casino and your play, make a SMALL deposit and play on that.

You will be asked for a lot of documentation in order to cash out and in some cases, to even register correctly.

Do your homework and play on a reputable casino.

One last thing. . . .

READ THE ENTIRE SIGNUP AGREEMENT FOR THE CASINO!!!

And then read it again.

What would I do? I would check Google and find the nearest land based casino....then fill up the gas tank.....road trip !

Watch us big doggs, the MEN, play at a REAL casino, on a REAL table. All we ask is that you stay out of our way. The rest? Bots, airball, RNG...that's more for the Kitty Kat Klub. Its the big doggs and the kittens!! Winning is not an event, it's a process and it takes YEARS and YEARS to master > link:://:.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014127/rs_560x415-140227131132-1024.bulldog-kittens3.jpg... I play online.  As an American resident Mr. J's is right.  If you have access to a land-based casino go to it.  The games are regulated and you can get your winnings promptly.

From my experience you want Live-games (you see a person spinning the
wheel/dealing cards) compared to the RNG gambling games (simulated w/o dealers).
The two 'trustworthy' Live gaming feeds I know of are Dublinbet and Celtic Casino imo.

Casino bonuses are lures for you to play slot machines and they carry a
wagering requirement of usually 40x (or more) before withdrawing your money.

Withdrawing winnings (and how fast) varies from different online casino to casino.  (You want to choose a casino that will get your money to you within a week.  There are rouges that will take a month (or more) to get your money to you (if ever) so beware.

Almost all online casinos give bonuses, rewards or anything to entice you to join in their website. But don’t get deceive by big bonuses because it might be just a scam. You can’t withdraw those bonuses instantly; you need to consume them by playing in their website. You need to deposit money before you can withdraw your winnings. But be sure you’re depositing in a legitimate casino that will really give your winnings to you.

Hi all,

Like martin I am also a newbie. I am so eager to try this online casino thing. Any sites recommended to try online casino?

Thanks.

It depends. What would you like to play?
They offer bonuses to attract players, but it's very hard to actually get anything from the bonus, unless you're a high stakes player. Most casinos offer 100% deposit bonus, so let's say you deposit $100, usually you only get the $100 bonus if you wagered $5000 or more, which is nearly impossible, or would take ages with that bankroll.

Before you start gambling online, you have to give yourself some goals. These goals must either be, the maximum amount you're willing to lose or the maximum amount you gain. Once you've hit that amount, get out immediately.

Found this old topic, just want to leave some advice here:

Bonuses are OK, IF you follow the rules! Yes, there are rules for the bonuses. If you don't want to read them or you don't understand them, then chose to play withouth bonus.
If you go play online, be VERY SURE to always read and fully understand the terms and conditions before making a deposit! In doubt, ask in chat if the games you want to play are or are not allowed to play while you have the bonus active. Many times - but not always- table games are excluded from being played in bonuses.
Play only in reputable casinos, and preferably the ones acredited in review sites like casinomeister for example. I usually only play in microgaming/playtech based casinos online - exception opened for betvoyager (sorry for referencing brands, wich I'm not affilliate)). Never had any problem in the casinos I played in. Only one returned me the deposit and voided my winnings because I didn't read their terms :)

I also recommend using an e-wallet for deposits... it's better then using credit cards, in my opinion...

If anyone want's specifics about what I use and why, I can expand on that. Just ask in a pm, so I'm not accused of advertising stuff here xD

Cheers.

Thought I would share an experience from 2 years ago.

32RED casino.

I took a bonus without meaning to because I didnt untick the bonus offer.

I had put £30 in and had £30 bonus.

I spoke to an adviser who told me they couldn't take it out (yes they could) but if I didn't go into it, i.e my balance stayed over £30, I couldn't withdraw it and when I came to cash out, the sum would be minus the £30 bonus.

So I played for 3 weeks, got it up to £130

When I came to cash out, they wouldn't let me have any of it, other than my original £30.

I had to turn the £30 over to £3 Billion, or something ridiculous, before I could get £30 bonus back.

A lesson learned.
