My almost EC method for review

Hello all!

I have been working on an *almost* EC program for a bit now, and would love some input and tweaks on what I have.

The problem that a basic E/O or R/B system has is the inevitable zero that comes along and turns the EV negative.   I figured the best way to mitigate the effect of the zero was to make it part of one of the halves, and therefore, a winner.   My system is disc based, with the wheel being broken into two parts: the 19 spots from 22 through 34, including 0 and labeled "top", and the 18 spots from 6 to 9 and labeled "bottom".   Since 0 is now part of the winning portion, the house edge appears to have been reduced to 1. 35% on the bottom, with the chance of it winning 48. 65%.   While the 19 will hit 51. 35% of the time, the payout is only 17 units for a win, compared with the full 18 on the other side.   In my testing, I have found that using this EC configuration is actually a little more streaky than E/O or R/B.

Now to the system, which includes two modes, streaking and choppy:
(Full credit here to Atlantis for his EC method, which I have found to be very strong)
After 2 consecutive spins of one type, Top(T)T or Bottom(B)B, followed by a spin to the other side of the wheel, TTB or BBT, we bet back to the initial streak, ie: TTB bet T or BBT bet B, by placing 1 unit on the 18 or 19 spaces covered by that half of the wheel (I am using Autokey to automate this on Dublinbet for testing real spins and I use Bodog which has a "favorites" function for use for my RNG testing purposes).   If we win, we go back to tracking until the trigger occurs again.   If we lose, we bet the same spots one more time.   A win breaks even on the 18-space Bottom and loses 1 unit on the 19-space Top, but triggers another betting opportunity on the other side of the wheel.   If we lose a second time, we stop betting and wait for the streak to end and a new betting trigger to form.   This comprises the entirety of the choppy mode of this system.

The streaking mode, where most of my wins have come from, is simply a repeat-the-last result bet.   After a spin lands on the top of the wheel, bet top.   After a bottom spin, bet bottom.

Streaking mode begins once you have gotten 4 consecutive spins, TTTT or BBBB.   You can immediately bet on the continuation of the streak, as I have had regular runs of 8 or 9 spins in both real and RNG testing.   Simply bet the last result until the choppy mode is triggered.

Choppy mode begins once you have gotten 4 alternating spins ("chops"), TBTB or BTBT.   Immediately switch to the choppy strategy I have outlined, although you do not have a trigger to bet at this time.   Follow the choppy method until the streaking mode is triggered.

Profit goal for my sessions are +100 units, Stop loss at -100 units.   I am averaging about 5 winning sessions to 2 losing sessions.

Looking forward to hearing feedback and results!

Hello Colbster, thanks for sharing your way.

For better illustration, this is what he means with "TOP" and "BOTTOM":

My first feeback being: Why not use also a similar 19-to-18-number "LEFT" and "RIGHT" division? :)

May prove complementary, specially when the stream is "hesitating" in between TOP and BOTTOM on the same half of the wheel.

First, thanks for the illustration! Second, your idea of also using the sides is great - I love it, although I am continuing to test the initial guidelines before I add in your revision.   Had two delightful winning sessions so far this morning, winning 105 and 106 units respectively over a total of 108 spins total.

Session 1:TTBTBTBTTBBBBTBBTTTTBBBBTBTTTTBTTTBBTTTTBBTTTTTT
Session 2:BBTBBBTBBTBTTTTTBTTBBTBTBTBTTBBTBBBBTTTTBBTTBBTBBBTTTBTTBBBB

Looking forward to other results

Colbster, you get hardly 4 TTTT or 4 LLLL together and even more difficult to get 4 TBTB.
Just bet the second last like TL bet T. TLL bet L.
Divide it on T/B and L/R like Victor suggest is a good idea. You get more detailed game.

If I understand your point correctly, you are saying that it will be rare to get the 4 consecutive that signal a change to the streaky mode.   If that is your point, I must strongly disagree.   There are 10 examples in my 108 spins above, and those are very typical.   Because this is disc based, rather than board based, it seems to be streakier than more traditional EC systems.   Also, you want it to be a little hard to move from one mode to the other - otherwise, you would be switching back and forth constantly, opening you up to more losses and missing out on more streaks.

Session 2:BBTBBBTBBTBTTTTTBTTBBTBTBTBTTBBTBBBBTTTTBBTTBBTBBBTTTBTTBBBB

If you bet after trigger TTTT/BBBB/TBTB show me how many times you would have a chance to bet.
Session 1: 3 wins and 5 losses
Session 2: 2 wins and 3 losses

Those are not bet triggers, they are triggers to switch between the two modes of betting.   After the TTTT or BBBB, you are in streaky mode, where you bet the previous single spin result.   That means you bet every single spin until you change modes by getting a TBTB or BTBT.   When you get one of those triggers, you are in choppy mode.   You bet after every BBT or TTB.  There were at least 40 bets placed in the 108 spins below, probably more if I went through and counted each one.   Sorry if I didn't explain it adequately.

Another session tested - 19 spins/117 units won

Obviously this is a fantastic set of spins, but I am posting as I test and these were my real results.

Another session - More realistic I think than the last series, but still successful and very good at recovering from a large drawdown (relative to the stop loss rules I laid out)

This session recovered from 2 good-sized draw downs.   The lowest bankroll point came at the beginning of the session, with the lowest point -74 units negative, which was recovered quickly when the system recognized the transition to streak betting.
