Am bad in maths but know that throughout my playing days won much more then lost on above bet....flat betting.........even thought you got to have a real feel when to bet either of 2 bets...never do it continously same.

I did a test of 100 spins 3 times with autoplay on red+column 3, all of them ended up losing.
However, I did the same test betting on black+odd+column 3, and all three tests ended up winning. Might have been bad/good luck.

If you are interested in several betselections and combining them on the table to see if you would gain an advantage or not, I would recommend you to read "Roulette Odds and Profits: The Mathematics of Complex Bets" by Catalin Barboianu.
The author explains in detail how to combine bets (complex bets) to cover more areas.
At the end all bets have the same disadvantage, no matter how big the coverage is.

More u bet, more u loose......; Imho best bets is simply to play
ec or lines.....max 18 numbers; Playing double dozens or doz and col
, playing 24 numbers does not work....compared to playing 18 nos.

This was all very good information guys and I think I understand more where my bad thinking has lied in. I have probably put too much thought into red or black being hit when I want it to and not realizing the major disadvantage of losing both bets if I miss the only four blacks I have covered plus 0 still kills the bet too.

I do wonder if the post teo gave has some strong merit using the labouchere however. Many times you would break even on the bet and it would seem pretty hard not to hit 34% of your bets continuously with this method. I may have a go of this teo and see if I see some positive results long term.

Just looked at the column total for 3 and wins for red in each block of ten, not to good.

Look at fifth block of ten, 8 losses on the trot.
last block of 9 numbers no column at all. think 19 wins out of 79 spins for column3. 38 wins for red.
Not going to see if this wins, but 1 unit on column 79 times and 19 wins must be a big loss,

Aus didn't even look at this in the shop, so the rng not playing me.
