Double Dozens - Most recent and the sleeper

Roulette Ghost  I was a bit harsh earlier. In my days of testing and first session using money, I did well, until today. I had a betting bank of 1000 units. It shows that every now and then the system will tank. It might be worth splitting your bank into 2 or 3 chunks and using only one of them. That way, if you lose it, you can use the reserve bank to recover your loss

I was going to say that

betting the most recent dozen and the sleeping dozen at the same time has a nice hit rate and wins often

i believe you just got unlucky in your session and it is not a often thing

after a few losses id walk to another table

edit: perhaps switching this to columns instead of dozens is better it seems in preliminary testing, up one on a loss down one on a win

the theory behind it is the best of both worlds. ive seen dozens/columns repeat 6 times in a row easily. so you are betting the most recent because there is a chance it will repeat and you are betting the least recent/sleeper

there is a tweak to this that will make it win

right now up on a loss down on a win looks good. the hitrate is good enough for a negative progression. progressions are not the answer but with a good hit rate they make you recoup faster

on the forum; I added my own ideas; I worked for thousands of hours before
results showed up. You have to be very consistent if you want to reach something.

Ok, back to the topic.My ideas about this system ?I think this system can work on SOME wheels .
The idea is good -playin the most recent column and the oldest (sleeping colum) .It is common sense and logical ...but roulette wheel has nothing to do whit common sense and logic it has to do whit random numbers,collums.So on most wheels you can play this system or just play randomly -is the same thing.Sometimes you win, somtimes you loose. If its working for you tell us on wich wheel do you play ?

the part i agree- when you play roulette always stick to a plan ,strategy,a minimal bet and a maximal bet.Thats why I like to read new ideas wich then I adapt for me.I search google,youtube ,forums, EVRething ! Learn,learn ,learn -then combine this things...eventually something good will come out !
the part I dont agree -theres no 100% ,or even 90% winning forumla .Eventually it all reduces to luck .The key is to know when to stop (when winning or loosing) .The thing I really hate is when casinos changin the rules during the game (with special dedication to the winner)

Thanks for the post SS.  It sums it up nicely.  Two things I might add, the rarer the event you're playing against, the more it costs when it happens.  The more common the event you're playing against, the less it costs but the more often it happens.

Steve is right.  Bet selection is king!  That means getting an edge based on dealer signature or wheel bias is worth looking at if you love the game enough to put out the money and effort. 

We all know that without the above, previous spins mean nothing for predicting future spins other than we know that streaks don't go on forever... nor do numbers, streets, lines, dozens and even chances sleep forever.  Because of the unfair payoff rate capitalizing on this knowledge is impossible with a purely mechanical system.

That means we have to incorporate Victor's "conscious decision" concept in our system or it's doomed to eventual failure.  How to do that is the challenge for each of us.  It'll be different for each person and can only be developed by experience.
