Flatbet 5 doublesteets until a loss. Then start a +1 progression: 2 hits you'll be recoverd, 3 hits you be recovered and ahead of the game, 4 hits.. well, it's a risk/reward...don't be greedy... For the careful player 2 hits should be enough, then reset and continue flatbet.

Roulette is a f**king game!...  :S

What are U resetting to?
was there a trigger for Ur original 5 Doublestreets (Lines)

I'm thinking Ur waiting till U get an Unhit Line, and then betting that Line and 4 of the Hottest Lines?

Reset to 1 unit bet ofcourse? I use the same bet. (5 doublestreets) Different playing styles is possible, but one or two losses happen now and then, but you should recover, 2-3-4 hits with +1 progression on 5 doublestreets is not too hard (in normal cases) Perhaps keep it to 2-3 hits then reset, (and flatbet until next loss) otherwise it can get bad, if you go for 4 hits and another loss comes etc..

Waiting for triggers is absurd.  You should be able to play any time, any spin.  Play several different "mini-sessions".  Aim to win no more than (5) units per "mini-session".  Get up from that table, and start another session.  I would suggest you have a mini session stop loss of (10) units.  The giant loss comes from the desperate gambler.  Been there, and done that.  Keep your losses limited, and ride out your streaks.  If your selection keeps hitting, why not ride it out until it loses?

Winning 5-10 units is honestly pretty easy.  We all have been on the roller coaster.  You go on your winning streak, feeling great!  Then, the streak ends, and the losing streak starts.  The problem is that, we just don't know when to cut it off.  We just remember how much we were up before the losing streak started.  Maybe you were up 20 units, and now you are only up 5 units.  It is time to go.  A wise man will take his profit because, ANY profit is better than ANY loss.

The math guys say that every spin has a house edge, and I do agree.  It just seems to me through real experience that the more spins you play, the closer you get to that inevitable losing streak.  Sure, I have started my night with that losing streak.  I cut it off, and take a little breather.  Come back in 5-10 minutes with a fresh mind, and start again.  Some times IT JUST ISN'T YOUR NIGHT.  Although that is tough to fathom, we must understand and accept this.  Do not EVER bring your entire bankroll to the casino.  I break my bankroll up into 5 parts.  It helps me stay discipline.

Why is it that we feel that we have to make a ton of money when we go to the casino?  Just because we got ready and took the time to drive to the casino we feel that we need to get our money's worth.  It is about leaving the casino with a few units of THEIR money.

I am not here to preach, nor to say what I do is a "long-term winner".  I just want to win like the rest of you.

All I know is if I can win (5-10) units in 1-2 hours, I will take that every single day of the year!

Best Regards,

Joe

Thanks Joe.  Every now and then we need someone to knock our heads together to knock some sense in us.  Ouch!  It hurts a little, but not as much as losing so much we're afraid to come home to the misses.

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Joe is right
You shouldnt expect to win so much. Expect to win (of course) but not so much. 10-20% of BR is cool.
