just out of interest why are you betting the 16 numbers instead of those 18 numbers ?

The main reason is that 16 numbers is easier to play with progression if you look at 16 numbers progression it will look like this 1 1 2 4 7 13 23 41 74, while 18 numbers is martingale. Second reason is, in my opinion chances for a number to repeat should be less likely to happen.
