Gentlemen,

If U ever read any articles,or study the "TREND FOLLOWING" strategies of betting the futures market, u will understand what I try to tell here.

I THINK, we may profit by following the trend , the trend of the roulette wheel behavior.

Say, u   bet the EC, BLACK, for 1000spins, flatbet 1 dollar, or 1 unit.
And then make a CHART of the win and loss result, u will see...

1]The line zig-zagging to higher and higher into the positive side, mean that the BLACK making huge profit.

2]The line zig-zagging to lower and lower into the negative side, mean that the BLACK making huge losses.

3]The line keep zig zag the zero value line, into the negative , then positive and then negative, and then positive and the negative again, caused by the House-Edge, pesky green of 2.7%...and rtm.

4]Move very high to positive, then,
very low to negative side, or vice versa.

So how are we going to make profit, by 'follow the trend' of the FLATBET EVEN CHANCE CHART?

example of OVER SIMPLIFIED method.

Make a simple chart of Bet BLACK flatbet, 1unit.

1]when the line move into positive side, bet BLACK, 1 unit, keep betting BLACK, as long as the line in the positive line.

2]If the line move to negative side, change bet to RED, keep betting RED, as long as the line of "bet BLACK" in the negative side.

Thus we hope the line will move HIGHER, or lower,[ALBEIT PESKY ZERO, -2.7 losses]

Of course, we need to set the parameter to cut losses, and take profit!

1]Profit could  only materialized, if HUGE DEVIATION occured!

2] Huge losses, will be materialized, if the line keep zig zag along the zero value line, where cut losses, keep accumulating.

Gentlemen,
Since I am computer illiterate,
Could anyone , post a few charts, of flatbet EC,
say, bet  BLACK only. for a few hundred spins.

1]That show line moving high into positive side.

2]That show line moving low into negative side.

3]That show line zig zag along ZERO value.

Thus we could see the behavior of the wheel, flatbet.

And make some lively debate and discussion, of how,[if we could],
take advantage of so called TREND following.

Thanks in advance.

Itzak Maytata (sp) sold a system that uses this idea.  I did not buy it but someone sent it to me.  Also, Bayes posted some software that does this.  Anyone remember?

Yes, there are swings in the ECs.  Otherwise we'd see RBRBRBR to infinity and beyond.

P.A (Why no second period?)  I wish you the best with your endeavor.  See, folks, people do post an idea in full (ignatus) and try to get other people to join in the search.

P.A (With no second period), if you'll tell me what you want studied, I'll take a look at it.  If you want the gist of Itzak's system, I'll relate it.  Be aware, Alhalaba says Itzak is the best reverse-engineer in the world and all his stuff is tailored to a specific set of numbers.

Still, if Bayes publishes something similar, it's worth looking at.

Come on, guys!  Grab the rope and let's all pull in one direction.

I will tell you one something.  The swings you see are NOT caused by the zero.  I tried this basic idea on Bet Voyager with no zero and I could not make it work.  Still I was betting for black to recover, not begin an upswing.  There is a big difference.

Forget the zero.  (Just my opinion; I have not been up the mountain.)

That's all.  (Why the cheering??)

Helo Meow-meow,

I think trend, as in short term, where win/loss tend to deviate, and take advantage of it.
The deviation, may RTM, or worsen, as spins go on.
Well, u may win or lose, since u need to cut loss, hopefully when the deviation, become larger, will recoup the cut losses.

when the line, of the chart , act as trend following, indicator, move upward or downward, u need to change the color bet , accordingly.
Thanks.

What you have said--pardon my bluntness--is nothing.  Follow the trend.  Bet accordingly.  Move upward or downward.

No matter how a person bets, you can say they bet wrong.  The did not follow the trend.  By the way there IS no trend.  There WAS a trend.  Will the trend continue?  Ah, there's the rub!

I thought this thread would go somewhere.  I'll wait for Azim to tell us the real winning system.

Thanks

Sam, I am surprised you really want to know after what I have been saying all along for the last year.

Anyways here we go again, I am sure people will have different opinion.

I am pretty sure our friend nottophammer will confirm that. He has a lot of winning sessions and less losing sessions.

Hello . . .

I have attached a tracker, EC Dominance.  This tracker bets for 1,000 spins.

It bets Red if Dominant( more reds than black) or it bets Black if Dominant.  If both Red and Black have equal hits then there is No Bet. It Flat Bets.

There is a graph included which helps show the variance, the trend or RTM.

Simply press Function Key F9 for another set of 1,000 spins and view the new graph.

Hope this helps in your understanding of variance.

Cheers

Nick
