In my previous incarnation I was known as Rolf-Harris...but for obvious reasons (to those in the U.K. at any rate ) Ive been lying low for a while.
lets hope nothing is uncovered about my new Avatar...lol
Anyhow, I hope to contribute to the Forum occaisonally, but if not I will continue to lurk around in search of a Holy Grail.

I like the username. 

Being from the South, biscuits and gravy are one of my favorite dishes. 

I have to make my own to get the real stuff. 

Brown a pound of sausage.  Take most of the sausage out once it's cooked, but leave plenty of crumbs and all the drippings.  Add sifted flour until you have a bubbly sauce.  Let it cook over pretty high heat, stirring constantly until it's well browned.  Add salt and pepper to taste along with whole milk.  Cook for about 10 minutes so that the flour is cooked and the gravy is thickened.  Pour over buttermilk biscuits, add more salt and pepper if needed and enjoy.  Wow!  That's the holy grail!!
