Hello all, names Joe, and I have been dabbling on roulette tables on and off for about 15+ years only recently began playing online casinos again, and paranoia regarding how legit that is bothers me lol

I know just about the basics of roulette and used to find decent returns from spread betting lays, but rarely now do i see results when I play,

I have a specific question regarding a roulette table I played recently on Ladbrokes site, what I observed was the croupier every time Id place bets hed spin the wheel & ball and then randomly click some sort of mouse like button located near the wheel, now my local casino has no tables with this attachment that I can see, so I was wondering if someone more knowledgeable on roulette tables can tell me what this is, as what I observed was when the male croupier was replaced by a female croupier she never once touched this button on the table,.....it may also be worth mentioning it appeared that the dealer only pressed the button if I placed bets at the table, as the second dealer never touched it and I had stopped betting at that stage to observe trying to get a read on the new croupiers spin cycles.

Ive tried to add an image below but if its not worked copy npaste the url      link:s://i.imgsafe.org/f2cd828b9c.png

I'm not sure what this is, and I assume its nothing underhanded but just want to know what it's called and what its purpose actually is, but as an observer it looked dodgy the timing of when the croupier would click it, it appears to be mouselike with 2 buttons, a paranoid accusation is that the clicking of the right or left button and the amount of times pressed could activate magnets on the wheel for certain things for example 1 click left = red, 1 right = black, 2 left = odd numbers, and so on and so forth lol

like I said im sure it is something obsolete and legit, but curiosity has me wondering what the heck its called and what its actually for/does, so if anybody can tell me id appreciate it as its only something I see on on line tables and not all of them have one.
