+198 in 40 spins

Al,

Thanks for sharing with us.

Can't say I'm sorry you are quitting since you gotta do what you gotta do.

I've considered quitting for a while myself, and then something catches my attention and off I go chasing the rainbow.

Keep and eye on the new posts.  You never know.

Good luck to ya.  And hope you find what you're looking for.

If you find it, let me in on the secret.

Lots of luck,

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

The important thing to always bear in mind is that roulette shouldn't take time from your main activities.

There are PRO's of course for whose their main activity is gambling.

But if you aren't one of them, then you should at all times keep roulette only as a hobby (a lifetime hobby for many even! ...but still a hobby).

Hi Victor, can you expand on that a bit please. What makes a pro a pro?

ewarwoowar

i'm amazed to hear that you've thought of quitting george, you seem to have so much energy and tenacity when it comes to testing and re-testing, re-working ideas etc.

along with posters like atlantis, katilla and thomas (not forgetting victor and i'm sure there are many more!), you give me the inspiration to carry on looking when i reach a low ebb with this seemingly eternal quest.
i'm sure i'm not the only one who's thought they were on to something, only to see it crash and burn, leaving your dream in tatters. that feeling is horrible and as i say, probably not unique to myself.
at this point, i might have a few days away from testing, but am generally lured back to it by reading posts from the above names and others.
keep the faith guys, or should i say keep on giving me the faith and hope.

cheers.

Yes let's keep the faith, but we must also respect people who want to quit. Anyway it looks like it's just a break for a few months...

Ewarwoowar, I know about the shattered dreams, your honesty is refreshing. Personally I'm not after riches, but I need cash to help me support myself through a change of career, so need to generate a decent amount every month. In the meantime, I'm not quitting the day job yet!

Living exclusively off the game, I already elaborated on my experience here:

Sometimes it definately feels like you are running around in circles looking for answers in the search for a winning method.  We tend to forget that all the while we are storing up a lot of knowledge.  If you decide to take up running, you can go that little bit further almost every time if you push yourself.  If you are a regular gym user, you start to notice a change in your physique after only a few weeks ( well you do if you lay off the pizza after a hard workout  ;) )  Roulette is different in my opinion.  With roulette, I think most people will have a 'eureka' moment where all of a sudden, a lot of the pieces of the jigsaw all fit together nicely.  Now this did not happen overnight.  It takes years of chopping and changing, finding out what fits where and what goes with what.  So next time you think of giving up, remember that you may just be that one step away from solving the jigsaw puzzle.
