"A repeat will mostly be from the last 18 uniques"

For the past few weeks I've been thinking to myself what the hell does "last 18 uniques" mean!?

If we look back to past numbers:

1) 21 11 8 35 11 21
2) 21 8 35 11 11 21
3) 21 11 11 8 35 21

21 is the latest number to appear (on the right), so how many "uniques" have we got for each of the 3 examples?
"Trotity trot, trotity trot, the noughts became overtly hot! Merily, merily, merily, merily, the 2s went gently down the stream..."¸¸.•*¨*•♫♪:

3Nine, I see the "outside the box" topic is about creating a parallel stream based on "positions", but I don't see anything there about "uniques"; that's not to say that strategy doesn't incorporate repeats based on uniques.

So 4 uniques would be for all 3 examples?

How about counting back to the last time there was a zero gap, ie. 2 numbers in a row?

2) 21 8 35 11 11 21

Here it's "1" number since last time 2 numbers appeared in a row (11 11)

3) 21 11 11 8 35 21

Here it's "3" numbers since last time 2 numbers appeared in a row (11 11)

I wonder what the results would be if:

We wrote down all 37 or 38 numbers. Put an x next to each one that hits. We wait for a total of 18 to have only 1 X then bet all 18
the key to winning with systems : play for a statistically irrelevant number of spins

I tested something similar many years ago. It doesn't matter what repeat level a number is at - this will not increase it's chance of appearing/repeating again.

Huh!? 11 is also 4 uniques? Now I'm totally confused...

I understand that now - that really is literally "how many uniques" - but I never envisaged counting like that. So there's several ways of looking back at past numbers it seems.

OK, so.... "last uniques" means those numbers that have appeared once or more since we began recording a session - or based on how far back in the past we choose to look from the present spin? And after 500 spins maximum, roughly speaking, we would have eventually all 37 uniques?

Yes but depends on view.
And yes.

Is it not after 7 posible uniques you'd get a repeat? So here if you'd bet the uniques as they come you'd have got the repeat.
Well these are spins from, huh, multi player roulette
How do you win at roulette, simple, make the right decision

falkor2k15

Yeah, 7 spins is MLE for first repeat, but all bets are designed to break even unless the required concepts are in place.

I'm running a test now on uniques from 1 to 37 based on a "view" I've created.
