Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

I've said i'd meet you in aspers at stratford.
Now think it was AMK, who said use a method, win never use it again, well okay, use a method, win a couple of spins, now use another method, if you get a few wins, dump it,use something else.
This definetly applies to FOBT's 40 spins if your lucky, then it knows the betselection, so dump it,use something else, it's like Madi said somewhere if the non-hit are above expectation then you go for a repeat, it just throws a few more, if a prog it has you at your limit, that deep dark hole, LOL
How do you win at roulette, simple, make the right decision

I don't think the consensus that people lose all their money is valid

I think they just get sick of this forum

About a week or two ago I just said "screw it".  But somehow I know there
are softer, easier ways to play and came back. I think that was about the
time I looked through my book marks and found profit trickler.

I'm a little tired of having too many things to think about. I want a method that
I can have reasonable confidence that I'll go and win $50 or so. And NOT have
my ass handed to me.  So like I said about the "10 cent methods".........

Need a medium.  NOT 1,3,9 or 1,3,9,27. Not cause it's bad or stupid. I just
don't want to ride that recoup train. I already lost $120 once. Didn't have bank
for 2nd try. Was HOPING I could ride it a bit. But I couldn't. I should learn from that.

Crazy busy now, so stacking my train with what I need to review and test.

I think a big deterrent right now is a
lack of luminary posters (for one reason or another)

F_lat I_NO/Vile/Iboba passed away

Mr. J (people know the backstory on him)

John Legend (known for Pattern Breaker and a few others)

*Some of the long time posters make the occasional cameos:
Winkel, Hermes, Turbo Genius, Bayes...

Exactly what Iggiv wrote. Most people give up after 2-3-4 years, then a new genereation of members come, and they invent the same systems again. I usually take 1 or 2 month break every year, when I don't read and don't even think about roulette. My annual break is coming to an end, but now I can't read the forum any time, as it is now fully blocked in the office where I work.
