Are you trying to win against the Casino or your fellow players?

I thought I would start this poll after reading some of Andrew's posts that basically says that we should be all here helping each other. Don't get me wrong, sure, there is nothing wrong in sharing some advice etc....  But... Who are we really up against when trying to win in the Casino?

There are winners and losers and the Casino takes their slice of the action. Do they really care who wins or loses (within reason) as long as they take their cut. If there was some type of winning strategy which existed on a particular game and every man and his dog started using it, what would be the consequences for that particular game? Well, the game would either cease to exist or there would be changes made to try and negate the advantage.

So are you really competing against your fellow players and not the actual Casino itself! If this is true, then surely it would be crazy to share any type of advantage you may have in any particular game.

"Who is the real enemy ?"

That depends on who you are.

Another thing is that nobody puts a gun to our head and forces us to enter a B+M Casino and gamble.  We already know the Casino has a small edge on the table games before we play (or should do). It's the price of doing business and keeps the lights on.

 Its one of two.

Either North Korea and its chubby dictator, or there is no enemy and its all our collective ignorance of what we are.

Sorry you were refering to roulette.

There is no enemy. Just our understanding.

True knowledge exists in knowing you know nothing.

The reasonable guess of the truth is already established. But most prefer to reinvent the wheel.

investigate the accuracy of others' claims to waste less time.

Kim Jong-un is just the latest boogie man. Saddam Hussein, Bin-Laden etc...There is nothing to be scared about when you understand it's all just a big game. Sure it sucks that there is a lot of collateral damage along the way, but as long as people remain asleep lapping up the X-Factor and all the other bullshit, nothing much will ever change.
