Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

Roulette is the hardest game and the more exciting for everyone because it is easy to operate and pays 35 to 1.

Let Me Win

This is one of the best and safest methods for beating the even money bets at Roulette and is well worthy of some discussion.

The above link is expired so I have attached the PDF which explains the system in detail.

The author is American and one assumes he is talking about American wheels with double zeros whereas I only play on single zero wheels with  ‘La Partage’ rules.

The house advantage against me is 1.35% which is more or less the same as Craps (don't pass line) at 1.36% so therefore we can use 25 spins.

Table A1 in the PDF  (all would become clear after reading it!)

Bet selection makes no difference so feel free to use whatever method you like for selecting which Even chance to bet on.
Personally I play 25 spins and then stop and reevaluate according to the rules and then play another 25 spins which could be any time you want even on a different wheel it will make no difference.

Of course if one finds themselves winning a few units after playing say 10 spins there is no need to play the remaining 15 spins and you could just walk away with a few units profit.

You won't become a millionaire using this but you will never lose your entire starting bankroll which should be 100 x your base bet.

Thanks for posting LetMeWin / WannaWin.

I am reading this closely. I assume it would work well with Pattern Breaker.

Let Me Win

Yes, it would work very well but it would be extremely mind numbingly boring so I would suggest a good method to have botted.

If Project 202 is too difficult to understand one can also play using the great progression as suggested in Ten Days At Monte Carlo At The Banks expense which has been described as a "Mini Version" of Project 202 and is certainly a lot simpler to understand!

By the same author as Monte Carlo anecdotes but much less well known and never discussed on forums. I have attached a copy as a PDF.

It's depressing that the basic maths of Roulette which is explained clearly in this book written in 1898 is still not understood by certain people on Roulette forums in 2018  :(

This is the method my bot plays these days online at live wheels with ‘La Partage’ rules

Hi Let Me WIn,

Thank you for that. I had not seen this variation before. IMHO it is better and easier to understand than the previous  Project 202 you mentioned.
It's very clever using DBL (decision before last) to trap the runs and changes (singles and sequences) and with a good stake plan for recovery that is integral for it to succeed and have a sporting chance against the Casino.
Flatbetting not going to work!
I am trying it on single 0 with le partage online manually on speed roulette (for small stakes initially)

Normy was really kind and made the script for testing this with Roulette Extreme without the staking just flat betting every time 1 unit.

The system as described in the book busts when the bank gets 50 wins ahead of the player.

That is a bust of 150 units in total.  So I am going to test flat betting how long on average can it be expected until the player falls 50 spins behind the bank playing as described.

"Frank Curzon and I had always been chums. We had been at the same house at Eton together, and had gone up to New College, Oxford........"

Priceless!!

Let Me Win

OK so turns out 150 is also the number that busts the drawdowns.

In other words once the casino gets 150 wins ahead of us flat betting we can never recover.

The bad news is that it is quite easy to find yourself 150 games behind after a few thousand spins or minus 150 units flat betting every spin.

The good news though is we can never lose 150 games in a row so there has to be waves.  Periods where we keep always losing flat betting overall but our spin to spin balance goes up as well as down during that period.

Therefore if we extend the progression to 15 lines we should never be able to lose  :xd:

I will try to ask Normy to code in the betting progression too.

It would look like:

Bet 1 unit until - 10
Bet 2 unit until - 20
Bet 3 unit until - 30
Bet 4 unit until - 40
Bet 5 unit until - 50
Bet 6 unit until - 60
Bet 7 unit until - 70
Bet 8 unit until - 80
Bet 9 unit until - 90
Bet 10 unit until - 100
Bet 11 unit until - 110
Bet 12 unit until - 120
Bet 13 unit until - 130
Bet 14 unit until - 140
Bet 15 unit until - 150

Remember the minus figures relate to how many wins or losses they are nothing to do with the staking.

Each staking level is a flat bet of however many spins it may last until either all money lost is recovered or you have fallen another 10 spins behind and have to move up a level.

The bankroll required is:  1200 units

If you want to test this system you can download a program from my website where you'll also find basic instructions for using it :

I'm afraid this isn't true...  :(

Joe how did your tests go
the key to winning with systems : play for a statistically irrelevant number of spins

RG, not well overall. Some great profits but more often than not it tanks when sticking to the recommended  parameters. I'm guessing this was a commercial system back in the day, hope not too many people bought it. The author was a much better copywriter than system creator.  ::)

You make terrific software Joe.

I'm going to have a tinker with your 202 software.

Thanks for making it available.
