Ah yes the electrolytes, i must remember that.
Oh & yes, for a lean/normal sized person Omad would probably do very little even if combined with Keto. Good job doing the 72h fast as well. ill probably soon reach a point where the longer fasts is the only option.
Keto is also fairly region dependants on how much it does because as i understand one region a loaf of toastbread has 1 gram of sugar & another 6 grams. Off cause cutting carbs always has some effect depending on how sensitive you are to the carbs & how long you have stayed in carb burning mode. i mean in my case i probably hadnt been in fat burning mode/ketosis for 25 years when i startet this diet, and the first week i thankfully didnt get sick but oh boy it was a bit of an "adventure"

If you are a big person, "do you like ripping of the bandage fast or slow" is probably also the only difference in small or larger length fasting. Some like to get it done quickly & some like it slowly. I must admit im probably the "slow" kinda of person when i comes to many things. But in the case of loosing weight i was a little bit into "untested waters" & chose to do it the slow safe way. Especially as ive seen someone on tv who had major hanging skin from loosing 50 kgs in 3 month & needed surgery. Doing it the slow way my skin has thankfully been able to at least somewhat tinghten up with the 8 new holes i had to make in my belt (i bought that leather tool to make holes in the other direction, lol). Fasting helping with the skintightening is certainly an importent benefit, because i really dont trust doctors fumbling around with knives anymore. Yikes.
Also im pretty sure i sleep much better now because of the fasting. Probably because i dont eat just before going to bed. According to Dr. Satchin Panda (horribly fake sounding name, but he is the one with the blue light glasses) who had a small time-restricted experiment where the test subjects was only allowed eating between like 8 in the morning 8 at night (but could otherwise eat what they wanted) & they all reported back about sleeping better. Its just a theory he has of cause, but perhaps its not just the brain that needs rest at night but also the rest of the body including stomach. Or it could just be the weight loss of cause

If i understand the whole thing about eating 3 times a day is something we as humans invented about 300 years ago & made sense back then as it was about long voyage ship rationing. Before that they ate when they was hungry & could afford it. So perhaps fasting is a more natural state for the body than we think. No doubt mother nature didnt intend us to scarf down things 12 times a day like hobbits.
Woops started ranting again, its indeed amazing what you can find on the internet.
