Perhaps the idea is too controversial that no one wants to respond in fear of sounding stupid.
Or, the idea is so absurd that it is stupid, not worthy of a comment. Frankly, I don't care.

Another thought of contention: Who cares about memorizing the numbers on the roulette wheel?
Where is the value in doing so?

I am curious. How many of you so called roulette players support such an idea?

I ask these questions because this aspect of memorizing the numbers on the roulette wheel leads to the holy grail, a topic of this thread.

TriCycle

As far as I'm aware there is no memorizing of anything, just basic math and a set plan.

So, TriCycle,

What do you mean by a set plan?
System, method, or the soup of the day?

I logged into a YouTube channel, Roulette Tube, 10/20/23 session.
I played along as though I was playing live for fun.
I recorded the numbers that were generated.

Can anyone distinguish any patterns that would benefit the player?
I will show you how I exploited the numbers, using a very simple visual principle based on the importance of memorizing the roulette wheel and the relationship with the numbers on the layout.

Sorry, I need to clarify.

This is not to predict what is next. Rather what strategy one would have chosen after 4 spins.

Kimo Li

Why is it important to memorize the roulette numbers, in this case, on the series of the European wheel?

For one, it allows the player to have a reference on how the ball is moving about the wheel.

I will show you how easy it is to identify ball movement in regards to dealer signature, without knowing the series of number.

All you have to know is how the wheel is divided into two halves.

Beginning at the single zero, clockwise, the first half of the wheel is made up of HIGH RED and LOW BLACK numbers.

The other half is made up of HIGH BLACK and LOW RED numbers.

Using the numbers posted above, we can see how the ball is moving from spin to spin. Keep in mind, the dealer is alternating spins from clockwise CW to counter clockwise CCW.

The first seven numbers is in the first half of the wheel.

This tells me the dealer's signature has a wheel spin and ball spin that is synchronized to fall in the same half.

So now you can look at any number and know which half of the wheel the ball is falling without knowing the series of numbers on the wheel.

There is a strategy that exploits this kind of pattern.
That's a different story.

My point is memorizing the numbers on the wheel has it's place.

Visually, it is easy to see low red and high black combinations, as well as low black and high red.

*Correction: The first seven numbers is on the second half of the wheel.

So Kimo Li just taught us how to bet just 18 numbers.  Now we can reduce that to a smaller bet if one likes.

Kimo Li

Well I don't want to leave out our fellow American wheel players.

European players have HR/LB and LR/HB, (RED and BLACK)

The American roulette wheel is defined by (ODD and EVEN).

I share this information to let the roulette players know there is roulette language I have been trying to advocate so we can speak the same language.

This journey started when I revealed my ideas in 2005 via my books, European and American innovations.

I figured out that the roulette players are divided by "tribal" language. I had envisioned a language of roulette professional players.

What I find in roulette forums are competing egos. Roulette players has been oppressed from building the roulette "Tower of Babel," perhaps by a higher power, stopping the masses from attaining the holy grail.

We should unite, speak one professional language, and build the tower of roulette, the language of GPM (Global Pie Method). This is the Kimo Li Way.

This is the only way to attain the holy grail.
Show me another way. I have an open mind.

A basic plan is something that has to happen and it could be described as soup, yes.

Can you show an example using the spins posted above?

There are many ways we can use the sum of numbers to track what is happening on the layout.
One strategy, called Lollipop, a term used by a GPM member, PokerTwist takes advantage of the numbers in the rows. Instead of betting 12 numbers in a column, the player uses only 9 numbers per row.

How is that achieved?

We divide the layout numbers into 4 groups
We convert the number into the sum of the digits.
The sum of these numbers will show what row each number belongs to.

Group number 1
10 13 16 19 22 25 28 31 34 Row One
Converted numbers
01 04 07 01 04 07 01 04 07 (147)

Group number 2
11 14 17 20 23 26 29 32 35 Row Two
Converted numbers
02 05 08 02 05 08 02 05 08 (258)

Group number 3
12 15 18 21 24 27 30 33 36 Row Three
Converted numbers
03 06 09 03 06 09 03 06 09 (369)

Group number 4
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 Special group quad group that stands alone.

So now let's look at what the group looks like when applied to the previous number example.

7    4
14   2
9    4
16   1
1    4
26   2
29   2
19   1
30   3
35   2
5    4
1    4
32   2
13   4
32   2
20   2
30   3
8    4
10   1
21   3
16   1
16   1

If you combine any of these groups to form 18 numbers, for example 4 and 2 / 1 and 3 the hits would look like this.

Keep in mind, converting the numbers quickly identifies what row the number belongs to.
Isolating group 4 and 2.

7    4    X
14   2    X
9    4    X
16   1
1    4    X
26   2    X
29   2    X
19   1
30   3
35   2    X
5    4    X
1    4    X
32   2    X
13   4    X
32   2    X
20   2    X
30   3
8    4    X
10   1
21   3
16   1
16   1

This is only one example of exploiting the table layout.

This is the ROULETTE MINDSET of a professional roulette player.
