A ponder point: does either roulette or trading contribute to the betterment of humankind?
If yes, then to what extent? (Hmmm...maybe a future article for you?)

Hello Esoito,

Thanks for your comments and the extremely interesting, thought-provoking question.

Like (all kinds of) games, trading and gambling are very interesting, very deep, very important, but above all VERY SOLITARY experiences. As such, they can contribute to the progression of a person but not to the betterment of humankind.
But it is indeed a very serious question and maybe it deserves even more thought and maybe a future article.

Why limit yourself.

Entrepreneurs are crucial to growth of civilisation at mega and micro scale - note KIVA for example as micro finance organisation based in SF, USA helping people worldwide.

Individual players can assist their happiness and karma by contributing a percentage of their net gains to any worthy cause. Dont worry karma is real.

This could be part of a sem-professional or professional players m.o.  A gambler will achieve none of this because it is all selfish and seperative isolated  reactionary behaviour. I can say this because I was once like that.

This is not cynical moral hypocritical rhetoric  ( I can think of a strong example of this) but simple pragmatic and positive and joyful experience to help individuals and society as a whole. It starts with your choice. Now.

First though you have a way to consistently achieve a surplus to distribute - hence the need for a vision and a plan.
