More likely on VE's weekend (i.e. more likely tomorrow).

No. As soon as the database is transferred all the messages are in and new messages can be added.


DNS (name resolving) for the domain's new home can take as little as two (2) hours for developed countries to as much as 48+ hours for the smaller countries ISPs.


UK/US/AUS all are going to notice only some hours of downtime.


The only real drawback is to have the default settings and look while I import the rest of features, tags, smileys, etc.

Although its not my choice, the guy really is not bothering anybody. I try and stay consistent. Meaning, if you dont like his methods, dont read them, dont respond. Do I think he even plays his OWN methods? No.

Though in reality, I am NOT bothered whether Albahala/Sumit stays or goes from the Forum,
(my run in's with him have been numerous, to the point of distraction), I am concerned at the
brand new member xugamagaita, being allowed to use his first post in the affair.


Couple of things that do bother me:-
1. he was here under another name previously- as admitted in his post.
2. first posts are meant to go in the "Newbies" section, as a nice introduction.
3. how did the moderated post go straight through to this Community Council thread?


I also thought that Steve over played the significance of this 1st post.


Just making sure, this place is run for all the right/write reasons, and not just for agenda setting reasons.

It was his first post and he says he has another nicname/username earlier. How is it possible without the aid of the administrator? It clearly shows that how honest he is.

Not trying to change the subject but thats why I hesitate saying 'hello' to new members. Usually, they are not new and are laughing their a** off at us saying hi.

Could I ask the staff here, how did this swear word get through the Filters within the Forum?
I regarded this place, as a very safe place to read all about Roulette related matters.

Even though you are correct, you have two posts. Why does this matter? A high chance of someone from the past, out to stir the pot. I could be wrong, I could be right.

So, in essence, Ur "Style" of moderation, is not about quality, like it HAD been previously,(by others)
but more about how many posts someone had?

That's fine but you are not getting what I am saying. I have more experience with this BS than almost every poster here combined.

I have to look at what STANDS OUT. How long a person has been a member. Do they only post on certain peoples threads to attack (mine for example, Steve for example). When did they register. Do they SOUND like a poster from the past, same mannerisms. etc. etc.

I have a lot to do here since I am doing most of this on my own, cut me a break.
