Wow great. Awesome, you have your holy grail. Please don't share it :)

I've also a holy grail right here. After 212000 spins I finished at +302 units!

[reveal]I was betting black..[/reveal]
if it works for you keep betting black and sometimes also bet red.

Hey,
Can you tell me how much risk you are willing to have to win 1 unit only? Without answering this, the question itself becomes vague.
If we have infinite bankroll, any method can yield us 1 unit, like martingale in long run. If we have a sensible bankroll and like to win 1 unit without losing many units, my most preferred bet would be playing Decision before last on say Red/Black with flat betting after a long streak(at least 6 spins) of terrible twins pass and other patterns start to come.
Can anybody provide any better idea?

I like the idea of betting 35 units (one unit on every number except two) to win one unit/day.

Here's an idea that I think will win the stare-down contest with gambler's fallacy.

It came to me while in one of my contemplation periods.  No doubt triggered by the barometer system outlined in the Monte Carlo Anecdotes.  So that you don't have to go look it up, the author suggests that once you reach +4 betting a certain method on an even chance, you stop betting for real and go virtual until you would have lost back down to even and then you commence betting again.

Using a similar idea, what if we tracked all 3 even chances and when one of the positions in any of the 3 even chances pulls ahead of the other position in that even chance by, say 10 wins within 25-30 spins, we begin flat betting the one that has showed the least for say 10 spins.  Any time we are +1, we call it a day.

Example:  We are tracking and Red hits 15 times to Black 5 times in the last 20 spins.  That means Red is 10 hits ahead of Black so we start betting 1 unit on Black for the next 10 spins or until we are +1 which ever comes 1st.

If we don't reach +1 in those 10 bets, we re-track and play again.  Any time we reach +1, that's it.  Game over.

If we want, we could bet 2 units for 10 bets the second attempt.  If we reach +1, we call it a day.

If we continue losing, we continue increasing our bet sizes for the next 10 bet attempt per, say a regular martingale, fibonacci, alembert, etc... until we finally win 1 unit.

Actually, this may be a good system to use as one of your back-up plans.  Who knows, it could work so well, it becomes your main bread and smokes winner.

Does this end the topic or stir up a hornets nest?

In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

YES!
that is cool and simple.
and it works with the appropriate exposure.

another rule of thumb is to have a safety break.
