Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

EC Method

I thought I would post this up in the testing zone to see what people may think of it.. it originated in the Full Systems board but is now quite different from the original idea in the thread started by Halba1 ‘Code 4 Flat Bet & Progression’, &  I’m not sure if that title would put some people off looking at it, presuming it was more closely related to Code 4 than it actually is.

Basically it looks to incorporate a few of the positive aspects that some methods I like seem to have to their game (ie. mini-martingale/flat betting/divisor).

So, you start with a basic mini-martingale, 1-2-4. On a good day, this would give us few easy units (I’d usually be happy with about 5-10 units a session).

However, if this loses, we are 7 units down.

So we would now proceed to flat bet across the next 6 spins. To get our flat bet unit, take the current total drawdown (-7), and divide by 6. So we have 1.16. We need to round this up to 2 to give us our flat betting unit for the next 6 spins.

We do this until we are level or + (or maybe just a unit or 2 down if the game’s been going on for a while), and then re-set.

If the total drawdown after a set of 6 spins reaches say -13, then we would take 13, divide it by 6 to give 2.16, round up, and therefore have a new betting unit of 3 across the next 6 spins.

Once we have a basic betting unit for the 6 spins, we stay there until we are level/+ or our total drawdown divided by 6 demands a higher betting unit â€" we do not decrease the betting unit even if we win back a few units & the total drawdown is decreasing.

I’ve been playing it without a stop-loss so far, biggest bet 7u, biggest drawdown has been -39 units.

As a result of the flat betting involved it can turn into a bit of a grind, so patience is needed, but it’s been a pretty consistent turner of profit the last couple of weeks in real play & also back-testing it on old results.

I’m happy if I make about 5-10 units in a session, sometimes this can be done in about 20mins, sometimes it can take a couple of hours to just break even. I don’t mind stopping midway through a game though & continuing over different sessions.

I played for just under an hour today, won 9 units, biggest bet 2u, biggest drawdown -17u.

I’ll post some more results as I carry on. I’ve only been playing online live dealer wheels, so untested on RNG’s, but the faster play would certainly help with the grinds.

The bet selection I’ve settled on for now is the Authors Method (basically same/intermittence but you can look it up in the forum), as it seems as level as anything else in its distribution of winners & losers. But of course if you’ve got a favourite bet selection please use that & let me know how it performs..

Let me know if you’ve got any questions, or any results you might get from trying it.

cheers

Thought I would write something re Notation as I do it.. (this is the highest unit game I’ve had so far by the way, both in terms of bet-size & drawdown, though not the longest)..

If 1-2-4 loss
(total drawdown: -7)

Bet 2u
-2,0,-2,-4,-6,-8 (lwllll)(total drawdown -15)
Bet 3u
+3,0,-3,0,-3,0 (wllwlw)(-15)
-3,-6,-3,-6,-3,0 (-15)
-3,-6,-3,0,-3,-6 (-21)
Bet 4u
-4,-8,-12,-8,-4,-8 (-29)
Bet 5u
-5,-10,-15,-10,-5,0 (-29)
+5,+10,+5,0,+5,0 (-29)
-5,0,-5,-10,-5,-10 (-39)
Bet 7u
+7,0,-7,0,+7,0 (-39)
+7,+14,+21,+28,+21,+14 (-25)
+7,0,-7,-14,-7,0 (-25)
-7,-14,-7,0,-7,-14 (-39)
+7,+14,+21,+14,+21,+14 (-25)
+7,0,-7,0,+7,+14 (-11)
+7,+14 (+3)
End. +3 units, 41 wins from 89 spins

Hope this may help.
