Nope. The complains from users of non-compatible browsers ran in


It was having weird behavior on some browsers.


You may be tempted to say: "let them download and install a modern browser", but some are just non-tech-saavy people, who would rather not have to do so.


Fact is there ARE visitors using AOL, and Opera and other non-compliant browsers such as old internet explorer in non-state-of-the-art machines.


Not much people is willing to ask their IT guys to install something for one single site. You would be surprised at how difficult it is for many to upgrade their browsers by themselves. Better to be considered with them. Most conscious choice was to remove it.


It can make a come-back as a simple text one, but may be redundant on the header to have both. Don't know. I'm all ears
