Some points may be valid in that documentary, but some things seem way out of reality...  and they won't really help us to change or make the world better at all, even if they are true (wich I have serious doubts).

Bayes is also correct,
"People love conspiracy theories because it makes them feel special and 'in the know', and when you have an audience rest assured there will be those ready to satisfy the demand with websites, books, radio shows etc. There's big money in exploiting the ignorant and gullible."   And because he is correct, when true information appears, it's easy to discard it because of this, even tough we may be discarding  valid information.... But accepting and staying inside the paradigms that rule our life's is not good either - it can be even worse! (do you know the experience of the 5 monkeys? 5 Monkeys ) That's like an ostrich that burries is head in the sand, hopping for the danger to pass. So what we need is to be the most informed as possible, but also be able to think for ourselves, using in a general way , what's called the Scientific Method... There's a lot to say about this alone, but I leave it to you to find out.  One thing you can be sure in any case... if it's asking you for money, something is wrong....      If you don't have time to see for search nothing else, I recommend you watch at least this 2 zeitgeist films, you can find them here:   :.truththeory.org/zeitgeist-addendum/ :.truththeory.org/zeitgeist-3-moving-forward/   (truththeory.org is a website that has lots of good documentaries from various sources, all for free)

Forget it.  Humans are too selfish to even come close to following these ideas.

Plus, they leave out the only thing that gives life any meaning at all, God.  And not just some force or energy, but a God who is the intelligent creator and sustainer of the universe and life itself, and who is actively involved with his creation, namely us, on a personal and intimate basis.

Factor that into your world view and it'll change everything.

I challenge you, what's more important that determining in your own heart if there is in fact a God who wants to have a personal relationship with you?  Once you believe it and enter into that relationship, it changes your whole perspective on life and eternity.

GLC, please don't take anything I say here personally and I hope you don't feel yourself or your belief's threatened by my comments.

Humans are not selfish by nature, we are taugth to be like that by the conditions we are raised and educated in - several paradigms work in conjuction to create this mentality. But this is a completly other issue by itself...

I don't get it when you say "leave out God". With all due respect, what's God got anything to do with the mess we create? I won't argue if God exists or not, what you believe, or what I believe, both are irrelevant to the matter at hand, and none can be proved correct or wrong. What i know is that this planet is the only house we have, whatever God you believe in, whatever religion you may have. Especially if someone believes in God, one should have already come to the conclusion that he does litle or no intervention at all in our mess - wars (we create them, not God), rich people (we create them) and poverty(we create it too, not God), billions of children die every day of hunger, while others are as fat as elephants, and we could save most of them, if ressources where better managed BY HUMANS -  It's HUMANS who manage ressources in this planet, as far as I know. And they simply aren't managed at all in our current state, they are simply distributed according to how much money one has! It's up to us and the dictatorship called "nature" everything that happens in this planet. It's more then time to take responsability for what happens here, rather then leaving it up to any other existing entity, whatever it may be called ...

About your "challenge", I'am sorry to disapoint you, but in my heart is more important to connect with people here that need our help then with an absent God. It's more important to connect with animals or even plants then with an absent God. And if you consider that God is part of every living thing, well... maybe I'm more connected to it then you imagine at all... And wasn't it what God and Jesus wanted from us anyway?

I personally don't follow any religion, neither I condemn anyone who follows whatever relligion, as long as it does not threatens and respects other's. I was raised in a catholic envyronment, but today the closest I am from "religion" is taoism and budism, but only from a philosofical point of view. I invite you to learn about other religions too, you have many: budism, induism, the list goes on... you will learn a lot about God, humans and many other things allong the way...

Regards and best of luck to all.

PS: At least in this issues, we should try to keep relligion out of the equation... We will never be able to solve any problems if we continue dividing ourselves, be it by relligions, by political convictions, by football teams, by countries, by colour of skin or whatever... The fastest we reach the conclusion that we are all human and share the same house, with everything good and bad that's in it, the fastest we, as humans will be able to work together to overcome difficulties and to share the good things to have a better house, the only house know to day for our species... this planet.

I agree, and here's a nice little explanation of it.

Bayes, that's a great explanation . Thanks for sharing. Definetly a video that everyone should watch!

Vladir my friend, I won't take your comments personally.  And, for sure, my beliefs are not threatened in the least by your comments.

You believe what you believe and are free to express your beliefs.

I won't expound on what I believe since this isn't the proper place for it.

I made the statements on behalf of those of us who have a different world view than the author of the video.

So, now I'll bow out and bid you good-day.
