Are we trying to beat roulette?

Well most of you didnt even open it from the title alone...and the rest are already leaving because this post isnt about some h.g I invented.

My personal story is this. I gamble on a weds in the "real" casino with my wife. we lose £30 in a night some weeks and other weeks we win £100. i have no debt. I enjoy taxing my brain. We enjoy the crack with the croupiers and the pit bosses. Somehow feel like pocket millionaires for the night. i get free drinks and get called Sir.

I pulled out of chess studies because I was going insane. I think a few of you in here are in the same position right now.

Beatin Roulette is very easy. I guess red sleeping for 20 spins is max, so just keep a marty going until it wins. I guess your 20th bet would be £1,000,000 and you win £1.
Simple. Roulette can be beaten.

Well....theres the first paradox. Why would you want to win £1 when you had £1,000,000 anyhow.

So its not roulette we are trying to beat. Its the Casino. The house limit is 2K on outside bets in my casino so bang goes my super doopa h.g £1,000,000 Martingale idea.

Casino has several postboxes that you can slip your money into.
Blackjack postbox, Craps postbox, Poker postbox, Roulette postbox.
You can deposite money into any of these postboxes.

Sometimes they break (the postboxes) like the Blackjack postbox. It kept paying out so they fixed it with the CSM (Continuous Shuffling Machine) Thats better. Fixed it.

Ive decided that this endless rediculous study is no different from my chess study. its a hiding to nothing.

For those who are still reading, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for teaching me about Roulette. I have an armoury of little idea to play on a weds. I feel empowered. The odd repeat idea for a few spins....then bet on the last 5 for a few. Then play the tiers when they first appear...swap to Voison du Zero....mix it up!

Special thanks to IGGIV

Im not leaving the forum...I will bob in now and again, but I am going to accept now that I fully get casinos and roulette. its in my c.v.

And....I am going to enjoy Casinos and their games for what they are. Entertainment, not an income.

Turner good post. Firstly this idea about needing 100,000 to win 1 unit disturbs me. WHY. That is insanity. Ive never taken more than 400 units to a casino or played online with more. And its rare for me to leave with less than I came with. GREED is often the biggest nemesis of many a gambler. Tell me what is better. 100 times 4 units or trying to win a 100 in one night and getting wiped. This is what people are going to see me do. Theyll be saying to themselves. " Gee this JL isnt winning much each session". Thats not the point. The point is im WINNING. And those little acorns of profit add up to one mighty oak-tree of a bankroll eventually. Thats why ive given the time frame of 1 year. Because I know how some peoples minds are set. They dont impress unless there are several zeros of cash in front of them.

The idea it to raise the value of a unit not try to attempt to win too many. I can settle for 3 or 4 units profit each session. Maybe thats one of the reasons ive been successful. Because I know for a fact many cant.

"This is what people are going to see me do."

What's wrong with Dublin?  Why not make us a screen-shot movie and show us how it's done.  With all the money you've made, you should be able to afford $35 or $40.

You know, John, sooner or later people are going to ask you to do something.  You can only power a hot air balloon so long.

I long for the return of KonFuSed.

Its all about Bayes now Sam. Dublin bet. Never used them. But I may try them after a few months down the road. They are slow as a B&M casino I know that. I've got used to a spin every 30 or so secs online. So well see. First excersise is to take an RNG. As people like you and Superman said I'm crazy for even thinking I could do it, After that the skies the limit. Ill play for you even Sam if that's what you want. You see I don't carry a grudge. Some bad words may have passed between us. But I'm not here to be popular. Just to let it be known this games for the taking.

I will always let bygones be bygones and move FORWARD.

TwoCatSam

"Ill play for you even Sam if that's what you want."

That's rather condescending, don't you think?

You must truly have a high opinion of yourself.

We should all be thankful that John has come down from the mountain to give us the "Holy Grail".  Let us burn incense and rend our garments.

Um, you don't get these ideas from a burning bush, do you?

Come on Sam dont spoil it now. I thought we were bonding. I get the feeling that you think, I think of myself as some sort of roulette messiah. Nothing could be further from my mind. In case you hadnt noticed Sam. Many of the methods I have embraced arent mine. I just know I can work with them.

The Pattern Breaker is my biggest offering. So thats not anything over spectacular. I just want Bayes to get it done so my talking can then be done with results instead of words. I think we are both agreed on that.

Sam and John.

I feel honoured that you choose to take "my" post off topic to argue again.

Im not leaving sam...Im stopping obsessing with this system and that system. I want to enjoy the casino and its games. I had stopped doing that.

Static systems are bad. Quick ideas to exploit the last few spins and their imbalance is the answer.

On a win, go have a break. You dont need to study that at all.

We have an Irish croupier in the  G-casino...called "irish". Very original.

When he swipes all the dead chips down the hole he often says " Mr G thanks you for your contributions"

He often says to punters who moan at him when they lose...." Hey...dont shout at me. You saw the big Casino sign over the door as you came in"

He is right.

Games can be mastered. Casinos cant. Casinos are an ever evolving machine.

If you think you can beat the casino, you are thinking like a bank robber.

Turner.

Sorry Turner for Sam and me, opposites attract I suppose lol. I dont subscribe to that sign over the door. Casinos are waiting to be conquered by those with the means to do so. Sadly they are few in number.

You will be if you want it. Just watch me on the RNG over the next few months. I will show you what is really possible.
