Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

Has anyone ever seen this system.

Can anyone name and/or describe the rules for the system/method below.

I watched someone playing this way at the local casino in 1999 (yes 13 years ago) and took the following notes.
After running the numbers I cannot see how it would be profitable since he was covering every possible number.
Presumably the player was trying to win 1 chip per spin.

This was on a Single 0 Roulette Wheel, thus only losing half your even chance bets if the 0 won.

The player would be seems to be using method A or B for each spin.
Whatever number won on the last spin, would determine where the player would place his biggest bet for the next spin.
If a High number won, he would play Method A for the next spin.
if a Low number won, he would play Method B for the next spin

I do not remember what the player did when the green zero won.

I do not know how the player determined the chip progression for the double streets, or for the High/Low.

Bet Method A

1 chip on 0
4 to 6 chips on double street 1-6
4 to 6 chips on double street 7-12
4 to 6 chips on double street 13-18
6 to 20 chips on High (19-36)

Bet Method B

1 chip on 0
4 to 6 chips on double street 19-24
4 to 6 chips on double street 25-30
4 to 6 chips on double street 31-36
6 to 20 chips on Low (1-18)

This is all my notes say, hopefully it gives you enough information for something you recognize.

Thank you in advance from Canada !

p.s. Just made this same post at vlsroulette, and thought I would post it on this forum also.
