Well this is my conclusion.  I have said this before and saying it again.

It's an excellent bet selection.

Played carefully it will give you a decent profit.

Played carelessly it will drown you.

There is no decent progression to cover 26 numbers and win it all back in 1 spin.

That's like what I have said before also. 

I consider casino as an ocean. I go in with an empty pail come out pail full of water.
No damage done.
Try and go in with a truck. The truck full of water will get stuck on the beach.
Getting stuck on the beach, the next tide will drown you.

On euro wheel 3 c. loses are very quickly - maybe every 10 min. of play. Good triger, for example as not main method.
When 3 in a row hit, I play 1-3-9 prog.
